I have a feeling that scott will be one of the industry leaders in bikes sold this year if they keep the price points what they are doing. They have a great line up of prices at every level..... except that ultimate one in question
That's a nice finish. Back in the day I had a Trek 2000 in almost that same color, Trek called it Black Cherry. Loved that bike, it was my first real road bike but I didn't keep it long because the Rolf wheels were too much trouble. Still have a soft spot for a bike in that paint.
So for $800 more then the rc15 you get a bike that’s 11oz heavier and in my opinion a less superior group set (force vs Ultegra)??? I will say I like the color and power meter
I just bought a Scott Addict 20 with Shimano 105 Di2......I REALLY like riding it..... They say that It's a endurance bike, But to me it feels a LOT like my Cannondale CAAD 13 w/ Shimano 105 mechanical......And that's a racing bike.......And It just flies up hills....
I have to say that this Scott Addict in my opinion is the most beautiful road bike, both in frame design and paint job. I don’t mind if it is slower by a mere zero point something slower than the competition, I don’t use it for racing anyway, I just want to look good riding this beauty in my instagram post. 😍
It's an amazing bike I ride the same model (last year's colour scheme). Fast on the straights not as fast as some Aero bikes but able to keep up no problem. You'll drop them on any mild climb. Super stable at speed corners amazing. I only have great things to say about this bike. The only downside are the stock wheels but swap those out for some nicer wheels you have an amazing bike.
@@GCPerformance18 I just got my 2019 Tarmac built up with Force then week later and 2 rides in the new ergonomic hoods drop like new style. But wondering if I’ll take a loss in $ if I switch

I will never understand why people are buying these racing bikes, and then riding with 3-4cm stem spacers. Just buy an endurance bike, man. You are not flexible at all :P
Will be interesting then when the ‘24 equivalent is released to see price. Considering that’s the old SRAM Force and the new group costs more than the out going
They figured 5 years of a bike is good amount of life on a bike to Be covered. The bike will outlast the 5 years as long as the consumers take care of it. But a lot of warranty issues are really consumer driven from negligent service. This bb is pressfit. If a consumer goes long periods of time without replacing bb or servicing. That can cause the bb shell to wear that pressfit hole or it can cause rocking and make that hole uneven. And then it’s considered warranty over time

Completely agree, last year I wanted to buy a MTB and the Spark RC price/specs were by far the best option.
Trek is trying to clear out their inventory, lots of bikes on sale now
I will buy this bike soon idea from SAFA brain all abilities are better than canyon specialized Cervélo what do you think
champ, do you know if the hmx 2020 frame is the same as the hmx 2023 frames?
LOL as usual Scott bike looks WAY better in person than on their website.
That’s why I do this
I bought a Scott Addict RC 15 at Christmas, beautiful bike and the Ultegra 12sp Di2 is great.
2023 model ?
Very nice!
@@dark_drama_llama1170 Hah, to be honest I didn’t care. I assume it was 2022 but it wasn’t important to me at the time.
Scott’s are the best. I have the addict 10 gravel. Shame they did a hatchet job on the finishing tape.
I've got a an Addict and Foil and love both of them. It's looking like a Spark will join my fleet this year also

I find it interesting here in Canada I have the RC 10 and we have all hex bolts.
Really??? No torx? That is very weird

I have an 2023 Addict RC 15 in carbon black in backorder. Really hope that the color will ben nice aswell. Haven't seen it in the wild yet
It's a gorgeous bike. And they're somewhat rare. I get states and people complementing mine all the time.
@@jaspreetsidhu5708 would love to see some pics of it 😀

I think it would be similar to maybe the foil 10, I haven’t seen it yet either
Addict rc is it a good choice for a beginner cyclist for the first road bike, riding comfort?
Here in Malaysia, Scott’s pricing is hard to resist! It rivals brands like Canyon and Giant.
Yea they are one of the ones to still push the limits for price point. They give so much value

It's only a few bucks more for a proper bolt kit and you don't have to worry about the torx
New Scott Scale RC SL goes for 14k, mind you that is a hardtail MTB. Cannot explain that price, that is just crazy
That dork disc is about to leave orbit at the end.
Hahahaha I should have removed it
i actually like to have dork disk for my bike, it protects really well
wondering why this came with a dork disc when it has force on it?

If I order now...any idea if I would get this bike with Force D2 instead of D1?
this one comes with froce 2 but the new ones come with froce 2
