Here's an ode to the beautiful state of Nagaland as we discover a little something about the culture, the tribes, the upcoming fashion designers, the pop culture and the FOOD (very important) of the North-East Indian state of Nagaland! Watch the full series here - • WEB SERIES: Take Me To...
Episode2: This episode starts with a road trip to the village of Dzuleke of Kohima district of Nagaland, where we experience the quaint charm the village life and simple food of Nagaland. This is followed by a visit to Khonoma, Asia's First Green Village and culinary experiences that we shall remember forever! For example, cooking in a Naga kitchen or plucking fresh vegetables right out of organic farms. In this video, we try the traditional Naga Food for the first time right from restaurant cooked food to home-brewed rice beer to cooking on an open fire! This is the most comprehensive food guide that you may come across for the regions that are explored in the video.
Accompanying me on this journey is Larissa Dsa (Instagram: @Larissa_wlc), who has an impeccable style and spirit of adventure, and hence we will together discover the fashion and food secrets of Nagaland. Besides a perfect co-traveller, she is also a brilliant UA-camr and Photographer herself. You absolutely can't miss her work! :)
A second perfect addition to this trip is Namrata Menon, a very talented videographer/cinematographer. She and her work for me were an instant love and I can't recommend her enough for more video projects. Not only is she a talented girl, but also super fun to travel with.
Our trio survived a 15 day worth of madness and exciting travel adventure and I cannot wait to share the whole series with you. This and is very different from my other travel series thus far. Stay tuned and hope this Trailer excites you!

My parents were from Assam but I was born and raised in Dimapur.
I was 19 when I truely got to explore Nagaland while working for the adhaar card enrollment agency. From my personal experience I have never met such lovely people in my life anywhere else. The most emotional part of this experience was me coming from completely different ethnicity and culture have always felt like family among Naga people and all the love I received makes me emotional to this day.

No famous vlogger in India or abroad goes to such a depth about a place's culture. They mostly visits main cities , malls , sophisticated restaurants. Mainlanders are not allowed to buy land in North East ...You can visit and work though

Dear friend, I don't know exactly what's your research related work! But fortunately, You have lights connectivity in almost the whole state of present Nagaland. However, when it comes to network related issues, in some places Voda won't work while Jio works and vice versa. I would suggest you have minimum two Sims , Airtel and Jio. One or the other works in most places. You can preferably get a Voda seem for your convenience too. Good luck 👍

It's a hilly place...so most probably you won't feel any difference if u happen to visit Nagaland. Coz we northeastersn eats the same food, we look same, and it's a hilly place like Arunachal.🤘🤘

As an American, it is so funny to see the "mainland" Indian girls reacting to the Naga culture and food in a way that seems to be so foreign. I realize why, but as an American, or maybe as an extremely well traveled American, I don't find the Naga experience to be so foreign. Now that I think of it, Nagas actually are more similar in a lot of ways to Americans than they are to Indians. Anyway I love the girls, they are a lot of fun to watch and I really enjoy how they are enjoying Kohima and the rest of their trip. I will have to watch more of this channel.

When I was Delhi university,
I offer my Delhi friends red tea , they ask where is milk . But from the next day , they keep asking me to make red tea 😂.
Then I offer boil vegetables , they say wtf no taste , and next day they never again.😂
I offer pork , they always ask me .
Whenever I'm on call with them , they always say they miss pork.
I miss them .
