Brooke I would love to provide you a cautionary tale that may save Frankie's life. I once brought my Guinea Pig, Brownie, to an outdoor pet mass at my elementary school. She unfortunately overheated and died. I proceeded to have every one of my classmates pet my dead Guinea Pig because I thought she was sleeping. This was until one of my classmates broke the news to me. My mom then sped us to petsmart while I forced my brother to give Brownie mouth to mouth resuscitation which unfortunately did not work because she had been dead for 3 hours. Petsmart threw her in the trash and my mom came out with another Guinea pig and said that it was her sister. (Not confirmed) I'm still dealing with this trauma today and don't want you to meet the same fate. #frankie fur-ever
@@shelbystafford4199 my best friend managed petsmart AND petco in miami, and they couldnt give less of a fuck. she quit both places because she couldnt keep rescuing the mistreated animals. maybe in smaller towns they are better but the main city stores were both horrifying
also something kinda similar happened to my nephew, they took the hamster in the car to pick my nephew up from school, idk exactly what happened maybe shock but he died later that night when they got home.

Brooke, I had three guinea pigs and they would go crazy every time I opened the fridge because they wanted carrots. I also switched from paper bedding to pine pellets and it cut the smell down a ton. I tried the fleece method and it was definitely better than the paper bedding, but the pine was the best. Two of my pigs lived like 6 years. Give your pig lots of veggies and she'll be healthy and happy!

Awe congrats Brooke! I got 2 Guinea pig brothers near Christmas, Jinx & Voodoo. Also it took my pigs about 1-2 weeks for them to start making noise now they wheek every time I walk past their cage lol. You’ll be a great fur mom to Frankie

I had 3 bonded boys and 2 of my boys passed away this last year, (combo of old age and stress from a big move😢) I only have my boy Monty left and he seems so so sad. I have to constantly entertain him to keep him happy. They can be a lot of work but I think every animal is worth it 😊
