Some of these awful, distasteful & frankly racist comments are exactly the issue that Diane is raising.

I disagree with Diane Abbott on almost everything but I deplore the abuse she and many other female MPs have had to put up with. Our democracy requires that we can disagree profoundly but still respect the other person and their right to express their views in a respectful manner without having to put up with such abuse.
She is simply getting the mockery she deserves. Someone should give her some peanuts.

we seriously need to get this person to step down from uk politics. i dont understand what she does other then complain about parliamentary issues (when she turns up) i dont think she is sure that she can just leave and stop wasting our money on her issues.

Shes makes offensive remarks to the original British, are history and what was are empire, then gets offended when it happens to her. Is she really fit to be in the position she’s in?
I dont agree with her on anything but abuse online and death threats to anyone is horrible and disgusting and I absolutely abhor it. Comments sent to Dianne in that form is terrible.
If politicians can be totally protected from being offended, why do they get the big salary? I work longer than most of them in a responsible job , and I get paid a LOT less, AND I can be insulted. I just have to take it and shrug, because the customer is always right. Thankfully, because I treat them with civilly, they don't often insult me, even though, as an auditor, I often tell people things they DON'T want to hear.
I guess when talking about hate against MPs, this woman doesn’t count.
