Wish I watched your video instead of another video here on UA-cam that has people downloading a plugin advanced wordpress rest which has locked anyone using that plugin out of their wordpress account. It does not even recognize our emails anymore! Your method looked way more easy and I think the plugin you used is way better than the other one. I expressed my concerns with that other user and I am waiting for their reply. But if you have any info as to what might have went wrong please share, because I am stuck trying to figure out what to do. Kind Regards, R. McF.

Thanks for the info! I'm just curious if you can tell me how to restore a default theme (and if we need it). Without really understanding the gravity of what I was doing, I deleted all but the current theme I'm using (Astra). Thanks, this is all new to me.
Good stuff. I've watch quite a few and this is the BEST video on how to reset WP. Very unfortunate, however, that doing so requires a reset plugin - LOL. I mean it's sad that WP does not have built into it a RESET procedure in the main menu itself - of course requiring you to type "I want to reset and lose all data" or something like that to ensure nobody does this by mistake.
personally, I prefer to go into my web host cpanel & delete the WordPress installation. Then reinstall WordPress using the same credentials, to get a full reset! Its not me though, its my OCD, just in case I have any site stalker! 😅😂
hi dear got a question? i do my word press local by the app I dowlosed had a problem and uninstalled it on reinstall it will not login back in like before FYI got on two computer one works other no good any ideas? how to fix it no one has a youtube video on this maybe you can do one to help me out

This is really helpful! Started playing around with wordpress and ended up creating tons of pages populated with demo products 😿 this helped us get back to square one to start our actual build again 👍
So glad it was helpful! Do you mean reset to a previous design/content? Not that I'm aware of, the only way in this case would be to restore from a backup. But not only one page, it would restore the whole site. Some page builders have a history tab where you can revert some things, but I believe it's only recent work.

After doing a reset, how can you get all the previous content back - by restoring from a backup? If so, which part of the backup should be restored?

You can check the box to reactivate them automatically, but you may need to add the license key again! :)
you have to pay for this plugin and its not cheap
they do have paid plans, but for what I've used in this video the free version is enough :)
