People like Ariel Pink, Connan Mockasin, and even Jack Stauber really set the bar high for their genre of music like it's not even about mass appeal or relevancy it's all just raw unfiltered emotion and creativity.
Not sure I would add Stauber in there. His music is just ok but I agree with the other two.

This reminds me of David Bowie. I have no doubts about that Ariel must have been inspired by Bowie's work.
His facial expressions remind me of many people, for example Ivan from Men Without Hats and the frontman of Pearl Jam. Basically they all have been gifted with the same condition, namely ADHD.

We had 1 of those HUGE Satellites in our yard that required you to manipulate 2 Boxes in tandem to find a Channel & often 'settled' for whatever we could find. Public Access in Montreal.
