1. Friends do not have their skin in the game. If you take a bad decision on your friend's conviction, the consequences of your decisions will affect only you and your family. The friend will not be affected at all
2. People find it comfortable to spend time with friends because friends will always agree with your thought process, even if it is wrong.
3. Lot of people waste their time just to give company to a friend. They are forced to waste time even if they don't want to hangout

I agree with what you said, but family can be toxic too; sometimes, family doesn't want the good for you, and family can be traumatic. So, choosing relationships, where to spend your time and give your energy is very important. Just because it's your family doesn't mean you need to sacrifice your life for them, especially when they don't respect or value you. And bloodline is an overly used and hyped term; now, it's definitely losing its value as people have realized that you don't need to mess up yourself for someone you share a bloodline with.
The bottom line is, choose your relationships and people very carefully; you will spend most of your time with them. And a person who disrespects, doesn't value, or puts you down, leaves them, irrespective of whether they are your family or closest friend. And, of course, be a good person yourself, too.

I am 24, But All my life I had friends but I never attached too much on them.
Just stay away from them for 6 months and see how important they actually are. during covid I uninstalled every social media app on my phone and I am happy to say 'I am somewhat at the beginning of my true journey of life' and all my friends stayed the same.

Very very true. I had a very great friendship for 10 years but everything changed. This friendship did not last. It's been 8 years since life moved on. I still think of my friend every now and then. Sab mila zindagi mein bas woh ek nahi ....😢😢😢 Still miss her a lot.

After observing the life very minutely I can say with 100% surity that the time spent with friends was the best time of life. They may not be with you forever but the memories they give remains throughout life.

What an insight sir! As a 33 yo woman, I can totally ratify your analysis! I have exactly 4 "bachpan k dost" with whom I can share my thoughts with and be actually happy about their progress in life and vice versa. But you are absolutely right that time pe family hi kaam ayegi. If I fall sick today my friends will visit me but my spouse/family will take care of me day and night. Goods friends are really important in life to make life more meaningful but they are very rare!

many people are there in my life who thinks i am their friend but I don't consider them as good friends they just think I am their friend
I completely agree with all your points but not every friendship is unnecessary. My own family can never understand me more than my friend. I just have one childhood friend who was my neighbour so we have seen all our present, past of each other together. We have seen families of each other since childood so we understand each other better than anyone. Most friendships are rubbish. They are just timepass but sometimes you get a gem in friendship. Very few people get it.

Very eye opening video sir !! In 2022 August my brother was struggling for life n needed daily blood tested in hospital itself. So all my mama Mosa n their kind friend circle had given blood. BUT when I approached my thought to be friends had ignored n avoided me! After that I detached n torn my relationship with all of them!!

Guruji mera bhai Delhi mein hospital mein 2 mahine admit tha aur mein iske saath hospital mein hi sota tha. Meri wife ke saare cousin delhi rehte hain hospital se 10 min door aur kisi ka na to phone aya na hi koi milne aya is daar se ki kahin mein kuch favour na maang loon ya fir unke ghar rehne na chala jaun. Dahin dalein aese cousins aur mein in cousins ki shadi attend karne australia se chutti leke aya tha past mein..

Friends always have an option to leave you but if still they stay , that means something.probably more than family
I have exactly 1 friend (and few superficial friend). We help each other for most things. I always mention him as a friend but he mentions me as his own brother and my mother as his own too. I directly say to him that he is doing this because he has very bad relation with his own brother and mother.
In reality trust that person who helped you in big trouble and that can be anyone friend ,relatives or parents.
