I once play an online golf game with lots of cute girls in it. to maximize my equipment twice a month I whale for the limited banner. and after playing for a year....my jaw dropped seeing the total amount I already spend. at that time my common sense say it's time to stop.
Eagle Fantasy Golf. if I'm not remembering wrong, it's from Korea(already went bankrupt though). it have a guild feature. and every month we compete with player from other guild for the top player position in the game leaderboard(we put our guild initials in our character name,this how we know this player is from what guild)
It's amazing that you still can stop playing after spent lots of money, but i know that feelings, I'm not a P2W actually but i did pay for games a bit, it's only a bit yet i already feel "ah, I can't stop after this" then the feeling of guilty comes🤣
A few years ago I had a full time job whilst still living with my parent and as such I had way too much spending money. One day I decided to play one of those mobile games knowing that I would spend money on it but since I had money and time to blow I decided to just try it. And trust me when I say it's just a downward spiral. You have to spend more and more money on lootboxes to try and get new characters that were vastly better than old ones just to keep up with other players (the game I played had a 1v1 pvp aspect) and you get increasingly frustrated when you don't hit. It took a lot of willpower on my part to overcome the feeling of regret over the sunk cost and finally uninstall the game. It's almost predatory how it's designed. All I know is if I ever have a child I'm never letting them play games that have lootbox progression system.
i honestly loved the flow of this entire stream, uyu is the perfect guest! what a huge chatterbox. he’s both a good listener and talker like robesan. i loved the part when he was trashtalking fuma and recounting how astel senpai was so close to making him cry with the minecraft surprise

and this is why i am forever a F2P so i can quit a gacha game if i ever have the motivation to and suffer no loss. but to anyone who is thinking of playing F2P on a gacha game remember that not all gacha games are friendly to F2P some are downright cruel and you have to grind your ass off for just a few roles. but no matter how F2P friendly a gacha game is you will ALWAYS be required to put in ALOT more effort than P2P. patience and perseverance are two absolutely critical things you need to have if you are planning to go the F2P route. the other thing you need to have firmly planted in your mind is the gacha is NOT your friend. you need to fully expect each and every roll you pull to be a failure when pulling for what you want. if this sounds like a hell you don't want to do just know that the only alternatives are a possible financial sinkhole if you are bad with money management aka Pay to Play or not playing at all

I'm so glad that I never had to go through this since I'm someone who was already taught not to spend money on online games when I was younger ( buying them from physical stores are fine tho ). This eventually just developed into a habit of not whaling, especially when I know that I will be going broke if I ever did so 😂. P.S. Uyu playing Ensemble Stars would be nice tho!
