- A double fatal crash in Red Rock has some in the rental industry raising concerns once again. Two men died while driving the scenic loop early Sunday morning. Last week a fatal crash involving a Rolls-Royce on Spring Mountain and Saturday a crash took place in a three-wheeled vehicle called a Slingshot.
That attorney may not be living in the real world.
If you are going to have active monitoring of rental cars, then all cars should be monitored. A hundred million people monitoring the other hundred million.....insanity.
They’re referring to exotic car rentals not a normal Enterprise Hyundai rental.
Exotics could easily kill you or others based on how much power they have.
If you don't know the capabilities of a vehicle don't push the limit. Most people can't drive as good as they think.
It's their life, it's their body, and it's their freedom. Iet them do what they want. If they died, let them died. They know the risk.

I am surprised they didn't propose banning slingshots. Instead they said people need to be safe and there needs to be better enforcement. I am certain they think the opposite about guns.
why would cars go faster than law allows?
Speed limits for individuals to get tickets but not manufacturers who profit off faster better. 🤦♀️🇺🇸

You can’t regulate someone being a irresponsible dumbass! A slingshot has a 4 cylinder motor and is pretty darn safe unless you act like a idiot in one. But that’s with anything! I traded my motorcycle in on one because they are a safer then a motorcycle. Have drove it for many years without incident cruising some pretty challenging roads.
If you rent a car and you push it to the limits and playing with your life then that’s your dahhm fault
