Jake was SO underused in New Orleans! I'm a life-long Saints fan, but he should have had more opportunity with the Saints. I was happy when Jake Delhomme made it to the Super Bowl with the Panthers. I wish they had won. But I'm VERY happy and proud that our Saints won the Super Bowl in 2009!
At least Aaron Brooks tried his hardest to help guide & take care of the organization as their former quarterback. He led in rushing yards & the Saints first playoff win. I love Drew Brees sure. But, I wish people should stop bashing him and look at the positivity that him & Blake accomplished. THis is coming from a Browns/Cowboys fan. 757 Stand Up...
Keith poole and eddie kennison and the billy joe tandem..wow that's when I started becoming a saints fan as a 10 year old and being from L.A. we had no team..proud to be a Who Dat for life!
I remember Willie Whitehead, Kyle Turley, Aaron Brooks, RW 34, Donté Stallworth, Sammy Knight, Willie Roaf and Rickey Jackson, of course he used to be part of the dome patrol.
Blake could have been a fine QB for the Saints were not for a foot injury versus the Raiders. I think he would have been a better leader and QB than Brooks.
This was a good season and fun to watch as a season ticket holder but an insider recently commented about this team and said,” there was a lot of bad apples in this bunch.”
I can get with that idea, I mean to me they both sucked ass but I’d take Delhome over Aaron Brooks ignorant ass any day. And I mean ignorant in the aspect of Aaron Brooks throw a interception and then showin his teeth about it 😐, just dumb
In all fairness I think hasslet wasn't given much help he could of been a great coach with the saints. Sean Payton is one hell of a coach but let's be honest hasslet turned around the team before he came
They just didn't build off of what they had. They should have found a way to keep Laroy Glover, when he left that defense fell apart, offenses were running through the middle of our defense like crazy.
Are you kidding? Maybe they were heading in right direction, but Sean Payton came to a gutted team post Katrina. He rebuilt almost all the players, and deserves all the credit for rebuilding the Saints.
Mike Fontenot Explain that one, cause i remember there was a LOT of controversy behind the Ricky Williams pick, with the wedding dress pic and things like that. I’d like to know because It was a damned shame that Ricky busted like that, and people Despised Ditka for that. I never understood it, plus, I was only 9 at the time, And when my dad would bring me to school, I would hear Buddy D ranting about it on morning radio.
poor Benson! he made so many mistakes when ditka was the coach! trading a whole draft for Ricky Williams! who does that! if Mueller and Haslett kept up with the right quarterback and not losing Ron zook to Florida in 2002 they might have been a sleeper in the early 2000s
Well when you have brooks a underachiever who was very inconsistent and never could put it together that will give you a bad record he admitted later on that he should have went with delhomme over brooks

'99-2000 Defensive Line is one of the Best in Saints History.
I respect the hell out your comments. You are absolutely right.
I needed a good laugh Arron brooks didn't accomplish shit he was inconsistent and could never put it together dude had the talent
These NFL Yearbooks pre '02 had the most legendary intro and outro music
True Saints fans remember Jim Everrett
He had his best days with the Rams but he was terrible with the Saints.
Yeah i hated him at first because he played for the rams and the rams was our arch rivials in the 90s along with the falcons
True Saints fans don’t wanna remember Jim Everett
lol
I remember Dave Wilson
norman hand, la'roi glover, darren howard, joe johnson. i miss those days almost as much as the dome patrol.
I was on probation when the Saints hired Jim Haslett. Thank God I'm not on probation any more.
I thought this was the 2000 yearbook of the Saints season but it’s really the 1999 Saints yearbook
Fred thomas got beat in his last years. My man sammy knight was a beast.
Keith poole and eddie kennison and the billy joe tandem..wow that's when I started becoming a saints fan as a 10 year old and being from L.A. we had no team..proud to be a Who Dat for life!
10 years later now LA has to teams again.Rams and Chargers do you like those 2?Because the Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl 56.
@Mr504Herb I remember Willie Whitehead, Sammy Knight, Jake Delhomme, Ricky Williams, Aaron Brooks, Donte Stallworth, Todd Bouman, Sammy Knight, and Kyle Turley.
Yall remember darrin smith? Charlie clemmons? The big wiggle, AB, Boo Williams?! Ahaha old good times.
A real Saints fan recalls John Fourcade and Mike Buck as QBs
Dave Wilson
Real enough to not be old enough to see but my grandpa talked about fourcade being qb when rummel beat st aug in 2012
I was glad we started to turn it around in this era. Jeff Blake was great for us. It went back downhill after Blake got injured.
The Special Teams, Defense. Shoot, maybe the Illuminati lol...
only TRUE saints fan remember Willie Whitehead !
I think he would have been a better leader and QB than Brooks.
i totally agree i tell people the same thing
Wayne deGrange i agree
Sucked when he got hurt, I agree
Only true saints fans would remember Ashley Ambrose.
Yep
He from new orleans
youngsmithjr ASHLEY AMBROSE
They certainly did look promising that year
sammy knight was a beast. fred thomas was great in his hayday also.
This was a good season and fun to watch as a season ticket holder but an insider recently commented about this team and said,” there was a lot of bad apples in this bunch.”
Which ones?
Fred " burnt toast" thomas. Who remembers?
JEFF BLAKE
The Jim Haslett era was the best plus he was responsible for making the fluer de lis on the helmet smaller instead of big and Goofy
Uh. Peyton era better by far. Nastalgia dont change that.
Who Dat! Thanks for the upload:)
this was the era they changed the flur de lis from big and stupid to smaller and perfect
@Mr504Herb Last but not least I also remember Joe Horn and Deuce McCalister.
I was born on February 11 2011
5 days later in born
We should've kept Jake Delhome and sent Aaron Brooks packing.
shawn lefort I know right? Jake helped the Panthers get their first playoff win and a super bowl appearance. Thank god for Brees though.
shawn lefort nahh I’m happy everything happened the way it did bc we wouldn’t have the 🐐 Drew Brees
Jake delhome did the same thing on the fields as Colin kapernick only difference is kap fight for change.
I can get with that idea, I mean to me they both sucked ass but I’d take Delhome over Aaron Brooks ignorant ass any day. And I mean ignorant in the aspect of Aaron Brooks throw a interception and then showin his teeth about it 😐, just dumb
shawn lefort exactly
This for Patric Nicholas!!
Joe Horn was my child hood hero until he join the Falcons in his late career lol
too bad Blake got hurt
“Coach Ditka, I didn’t read the play book!” Which Saint player said that?
In all fairness I think hasslet wasn't given much help he could of been a great coach with the saints. Sean Payton is one hell of a coach but let's be honest hasslet turned around the team before he came

sounds REALLY familiar to now...
Hollywood"Joe Horn💪🏾
How You be where the ball be at most of the time?
what happened to all the other nfl films lol
+Ken Hidaka The NFL blocked 2 of my films world wide last week so I removed those 2 and another just in case. I don't need a strike on my account.
@@galaxies352 do you have the 2001 video by chance. Breakout on the bayou
Haslet had one 10 and 6 season that's it
So jake delhomme wore #9 before the goat Bressus 16:32
At 16:10 like breesy huh?
I loved the Saints when they were horrible lol.. Good times for football
they gone buss reskin ass they if they see them
Beejay da Gigolo Saints won the super bowl in 09...
aye they got a lot better
do you have 2001 Saints video? I could pay you some money if you can turn it from vhs to dvd.
More sacks than any NFL team for 10 years. Impressive since that was post Dome Patrol.
Mike Dicka crippled the saints with a he draft he knew he wasn’t going to be there for any long period of time and didn’t care
Mike Fontenot Explain that one, cause i remember there was a LOT of controversy behind the Ricky Williams pick, with the wedding dress pic and things like that. @Mr504Herb Of Course Kyle Turley couldn't keep his cool during some games and just lost it and went completely bonkers, and he's a hothead.
Fred "ACL tear" weary
WHO DAT NATION!!!
Norman hand Sammy knight
Who said football was gay? Oh wait. That was me.
WILLIE ROAF
whodat!!
poor Benson! he made so many mistakes when ditka was the coach! trading a whole draft for Ricky Williams! who does that! if Mueller and Haslett kept up with the right quarterback and not losing Ron zook to Florida in 2002 they might have been a sleeper in the early 2000s
It was really a good financial move sold many tickets
Fourcade wins scab games and saints start him lol
Should've Kept Ricky Williams.?? :(
How could the Browns win against New Orleans.
Historically the Brown are 4 losses and 15 wins over the Saints, including this season.
yea they got Brooks and that was a mistake lol
Look at Haslett s RECORD it's not that good
Well when you have brooks a underachiever who was very inconsistent and never could put it together that will give you a bad record he admitted later on that he should have went with delhomme over brooks
2000. 10 6 2001 7 9 2002 9 7 2003 8 8 2004 8 8 2005 3 13 not good at all
Why do you think he was fired??
