Another five star performance of an Ashford & Simpson gem. They wrote some bad jams. Gladys Knight & The Pips rising up on a serious groove. Old School is where it's at.
This song is from the album "About Love", which was criminally underrated. All songs were written by Ashford & Simpson and all are fabulous. There should be a serious reevaluation of the groups songs recorded for the "Columbia" label.
Definitely!!! It has to be one of my favorite albums of all times! I bought it on cassette tape, C.D., and online. My favorite song on that album is Get the Love!
Easy Fraction!

Hey Buzz...I didn't know. Thanks for sharing, but as I've commented, this is my favorite song from this group.
This is my favorite Gladys Knight and the Pips song. I absolutely love. This type of singing doesn't happen anymore.
This is beyond any doubt my favorite from Gladys Knight and the Pips. I just love it, and thank you Guillame Lods for posting it.
And in 2022, June...I'm still loving this song.
Oh yeah. I agree. Still a powerhouse in 2022 cause Old Skool Rules.
Loving the song in January of 2024.
Another fantastic best kept secret written and produced by Ashford & Simpson.
no idea how I found this vinyl in the dollar bin at the record store
