A Russian cat has adopted a baby squirrel monkey after he was abandoned by his mother at a zoo, comforting the little primate by letting him cling to her back for warmth.
I don't know about "adopt". Looks more like the cat wasn't given the opportunity to say No, because the baby monkey wasn't actually listening to what the cat was trying to say. 😐
Yes, the cat is annoyed with the monkey; no, it's not really a problem. The cat is tolerating the monkey the same way elderly cats tolerate rambunctious kittens. If she really had a problem with it, she would do more than just look annoyed. Also the way she walks w/the monkey clinging to her back is just a product of how cats respond to pressure on their backs. She's walking with her tail straight up despite the low stance, that's a sign of positive mood. Basically, this is super adorable and y'all need to learn cat body language better and chill.

The reason for it was, “the dogs aren’t well taken care of” when show dogs are literally the most pampered and well taken care of animals. They also have done several other terrible things too. So I agree with how bad some people get about PETA.

I have 4 cats about the same age as this cat. And..I really don't think the cat hates this situation. When any of my 4 cats hate something..they go absolutely ballistic..like most cats do. Even at age 16..my cats are capable of screaming, scratching, biting, running..and doing whatever it is that they have to do..to remedy a situation..that they hate. The cat might be mildly annoyed..but I do not see hate. Cats (even old ones).. do not hold back their emotions..when they really hate something.

If you passed a taller family member, he would hop and hitch a ride with them. It was so cute when he would jump on the dining room table (tried to teach him it was off limits, but we kept the fruit bowl there) and try to carry a big banana😆. For whatever reason, my mom found a new home for him. I hope he stayed there.🐒👧💕
