This video is so helpful for my parasitology lab. Thank you!
Well done for the good work for us especially those of us who are finding it difficult in hematology lab
Thank God I found this page. Proudly Ghanaian🇬🇭
You made it to be clear this lesson through the way you introduce yourself to your patience and the function of all instruments thank you so much for your good explanation.
You are a good instructor
You are an excellent Doctor.
God bless you and keep up the good work
Why did you wear gloves in touching the microscope?,I was told by my teacher is wrong to wear gloves in touching the microscope, you may contaminate the microscope with the gloves.
You aren't serious, are you? So if he's working with a detrimental sample say O.volvulus you expect him not to wear gloves?. ...and who told you that the risk of contaminating the microscope or microscope slide is high?
😢We were told the same thing in Biorisk Management class, but exceptions are; if the MSC is his personal MSC so he will know how to handle it, and clean it afterwards. Because there are risks of contamination if after handling the MSC with the gloves and someone else comes to handle it without gloves.
i really like the way u engaged the patient. Keep it up Sir!
8yrs ago and still helpful for MMp😍😍😍 thank you
This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.
Nice tool for training on this malaria RDT
as a matter of fact, visited this video in 2023 and find it helpful. thank you sir and God bless the works of your hand
in school we were told to label the sample after collection, that is because you might label the sample collection item then the patient changes his or her mind
thank you for the video ..it's helpful...as a comment the fixative may also fixe the thick smear as you drop the slide downward because the alcohol is volatile
Wonderful patient care and explanation. Thank you for sharing this information
This Trick is really helpful and personally i have appreciated Malaria parasite

For the thick film, is it immersed in standard tap water? Or millipore? 8:34
Perfect
thanks
Shouldn't the venous blood be used rather than the capillary blood?
nice
Nice
kerp going
Nice information & for specially malaria microscopy .
Good
Great but I am confused y the thick smear is deep after the methanol in the thine smear
Yeah me too..but in the procedure I know is only the thin film that you have to dip in the methanol
am in kenya am having problem while making a thin film on an old slide and the hospital doesnt want to buy new slides
I did not see the need for dehemoglobinising the thick blood smear with distilled water when the 90% of water in the Giemsa work solution would have done the same job? Explain please if you may?
me too big man ,i am waiting for explanation
tq sir
thanks for the work please interpret the results for me
Why did you clean off the first blood discharge
Please can you show us the mp on the microscope sir
Why do you prick the mid of the finger yet there are nerve endings
I have seen my lab guys use field stain A and B. Whats the difference to giemsa
kalipo gmail quicker than giemsa, takes only 2-5 min
Pls there's nothing like lab guys.. They have titles address dem as such only in Africa that we don't want to learn and adapt to things. Laboratory professionals are either lab assistants, lab technicians or lab scientists, dat old fashioned way of living is wat hv derailed our health systems , especially de laboratory dats y we are where we are. Pathetic
Giemsa is one the Roman wisk stain and the most common one.
Well🤞👌🤗
Very disappointing that they did not show the blood sample under the microscope. Malaria or no malaria? We still don't know and we still don't know what it looks like under the microscope :'(
confidentiality matters 😊
😍
