Hunt Suburbia
United States
Приєднався 2 сер 2020
We're addicted to whitetail deer, and we aren't alone. Just because we live in the suburbs doesn't mean there aren't ample hunting opportunities to chase some really nice whitetails. We will talk a lot about suburban hunting, but we'll also talk about hunting the big woods, mountains, and foothills. There will be something for everyone here. This channel is a place to come and share stories about your addiction, have some fun, and learn something along the way. From podcasts to hunting videos we want to build a community of hunters, from newbies to pros. Our goal is to introduce more people to hunting who can pass on this amazing way of life to the next generation to ensure that we have the numbers to conserve land, deer populations, and opportunity for future generations of hunters. If you are a newb and want to learn, we welcome you with open arms because WE NEED YOU! If you are experienced, WE NEED YOU to mentor the next generation, and let's face it you still have a lot to learn.

Damn good podcast guyss😊😊❤
Unreal from the Jouster
Outstanding content, thank you! 🙌
funny how the cameras get the blame in the comments, lifetime ban for poaching the buck of a lifetime would be justice
What a great podcast!!
I refuse to believe the hanson buck was 3 1/2 he had to of been 4 1/2 at least how could it grow that much antler his 3rd yr growing horns
BS video
Love this episode with Rick. I’m watching it for the fourth time. His stories are the best.
I think that she wants to have your baby's
He ended up getting a slap on the wrist. Some fines and some apology letters
Great podcast! #bowhuntma
What a wonderful man!!! Love hearing stories from these seasoned hunters!!!
How does he get these bucks out of the woods alone? That is the work!!!!!!
We mostly get ice here some snow but its usually mid to late February early March by then they have dropped antlers or badly busted up
One huge problem with all law enforcement is they all interpret laws differently. There was one epo that said the 500ft rule for bow means nothing on your own property and some say it does.
Remember back in 1910 Maine still had chestnut trees extremely nutritious!!!
Great breakdown . Matter of fact the best breakdown I've seen yet. I'm sitting in my blind on my texas property and ran across this. What's funny is all the asshats that broke there neck to get this dude on they're podcast to talk about this buck. I'm sorry to be judgemental but I can smell bull$hit a mile away and the first podcast I saw with this dude I knew he was a lying $hitbag. I've been hunting and guiding big game 40 years and don't claim in any way to be the end all be all of the hunting world but 5 minutes in to this dude talking I knew he was a lier and wouldn't make a good scab on a real hunters a$$. I've been dealing with "fence jumpers " a long time and this dude fit the mold perfectly plus he looked like he needed a bath. I just subscribed and look forward to binge watching this channel to catch up .
@@5spottedbass thank you. This is the only video like it on my channel. It's mostly podcasts about hunting in the Northeast, with some legends of the Northeast on my Living Legends series. Thanks for the subscribe!
@HuntSuburbia I'm enjoying the content . I'm glad it's structured the way it is. This channel is nicely put together ! Happy this is a "one off subject" but yiu still did a great job on it !
Couldn't finish it, 2 guys talking about how they hunt deer with cameras . Imagine if all us deer hunters put 20 cameras each in the woods .😮
Cameras help to narrow in on spots, but there's no replacement for boots on the ground. Also Chris mostly tracks, no cameras needed for that - it's just another fun part of our past time. Cameras are really fun man!
@HuntSuburbia I know what cameras do but like anything else people leave in the public woods is disrespectful to others that would also like to enjoy what little is left of PUBLIC woods. Just watched a video the other where a guy drops a nice buck in front of someones camera. Gets it out to his truck only to find that someone waiting on him. To me that's just extremely creepy and wrong ,very wrong. Peeps can't hunt anywhere now days without being spied on.
The real shame is this deer was killed the way it was instead of by a hunter that does everything they can to get shots at great deer
For gods sake man, get your guests a damn mic, you reaching over to correct his hold, reminds us of a mother and child
I remember in about 1980 I saw Tom was giving trapping lessons in Michigan. I just didn't have the funds. Man I missed an opportunity
I just got a pair of moultries. Do i need a seperate account for each camera or will they share 1 account?
They share the same account
Good round boys, all 3 are very good, but Lanny is the real killer
Picked up a few extra tips from one of the GOATs.
That one was a banger my dude
There ya go, that one was reserved for the AG's relative. Got it.
They are stacking charges on him because the DA is pissed he didn't get the deer. Why didn't they charge him back when he did all this other stuff.
The woods where you hunt look nice not much under brush I hunt zone 11 and most of it is thick brush
I wish they prosecuted all poaching and trespassing cases in Ohio like this!
I'm from Richford lol ! Been hunting that same territory between that and Black Falls for years. Awesome hunting ! Big woods also.
Some good nuggets in this one. The cell camera strategy talk is adding fuel to the anti cell camera rhetoric IMHO
All these ppl are full of shit i wish i was in court part of the defense with the known knowledge that i have period and about the traveling routes amd behavior of deer during rut and with added pressure . This was all bs that kid was so framed ........this kind of stuff is destroying the hunting traditions and industry
If killed big mature bucks traveling on 5acres to 15 acres . Private .....this is all BS nonsense. They framed that kid
Kid was framed ......power trippers the DA framed him so bad ......
Do you run cameras in these places during summer where your getting these new bucks showing up? I have found in my experience that deer will leave their summer range and rut somewheres else. Then they show back up sometime in december. They usually leave right as the velvets coming off.
@@JimBowSlice yes I run cameras basically year round. By new bucks I mean one I have never had on camera in there at all. They are coming from a whole other piece of woods somewhere.
I think that deer drives make it hard for stand hunters it pushes the deer close to houses where you can't hunt Saturday my area was heavily pushed and seeing deer is going to be hard
@@myronchamberlain7734 I agree, just gotta change your tactics post-drive and go where they are hiding.
Deer go 10-25 miles all of the time. All of the time. Something fishy about this case
Back in my time you just hunted. Written permission will kill hunting. No land except for th3 rich. Sad days
Access? He was dropped off/ picked up
If you wrap deer with a 3 x 5 tarp, makes dragging easier even over snow as well as dry ground.
He lied his ass off almost all evidence was from his cellphone and his own words.
I do know this crap happens in Ohio . People poaching these big dear . Sad to know this crap happens and can be proud about it
Crazy for me to think about a right-hand person stopping with their right foot forward! As a righty I have trained myself to stop always with the left foot forward and I can shoot as far as possible to the right with my body in that position as well as turn around to the left like an owl. Definitely more than one way to skin a cat. Great interview, you always do such a great job! Randy seems like a heck of a guy and I appreciate him sharing his experience.
Those teeth bro. You gotta do something about those chompers. Haha. They almost falling out your mouth.
buddy was sentenced today
Seal maybe
Bob cat
Ar3 ther3 any wildlife rehab centers, animal shelters, or veterinary clinics near you?
I grew up hunting in the high peaks. I wish these guys would not talk about it. We are seeing more guys out there.
Me too and still have that book.
