didn't know about Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt but to be honest if you watch Twister they do argue a lot like a real married couple so I guess the fact they didn't like each other off set made for "better" acting onscreen, here's hoping they made up before Bill passed.
I think it was George Kennedy who was asked if he had ever worked with another actor whom he didn't like. He said it didn't matter because he was paid to work, not to make friends.
I have to say this video is unfair to Anthony Daniels. This was Daniels first picture. When he met Baker, Daniels asked to say some lines so that he could get a sense of timing And interaction with R2. Baker said “I don’t have any lines, and I’m not going to beep and boop!” It also didn’t help that it took Daniels an hour to get into the suit and a half hour to get out at the end of the day. Baker would just jump into the costume 5 minutes before filming and couldn’t talk or hear to anyone. Then he pop out and leave while Anthony was still in the costume. By his own admission, Baker didn’t understand that being cooped up in C3PO costume made Daniels claustrophobic, isolated and angry.
Favorite Oliver Reed story: when his agent told him he could be one of the biggest leading actors in Hollywood if he would just quit drinking, he replied, "Then I shall become the biggest character actor in Hollywood."
You have to respect Russell Crowe for keeping it 💯. Many times when someone passed people suddenly have nothing but love for the person. He was respectful, but truthful. That is someone you can guarantee is going to always tell you the truth.
@Backfromthedeadguy what does that have to do with what I said I was mostly referring to the entry where one of the cast didn't like going out with the rest of the crew to hang out after shooting and the rest of the cast saw him as arrogant or like he was too good for them but even still why do two actors need to be friends to share an onscreen kiss "acting" is the job not making friends
Things between John Leguizamo and Patrick Swayze got so heated on the set of To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar that they got into a fistfight in between takes while both were still in their full drag-queen costumes. The director tried to step in to break it up but was stopped by Wesley Snipes, telling him to let them both just fight so they could get it out of their systems. Plus, I'm sure Snipes was thinking, "Oh, there is NO WAY I'm missing this!" and I'd feel the same way! 😂 Plus, Steven Seagal vs Everyone, Klaus Kinski vs Everyone and Lawrence Tierney vs Everyone... but if you know who those actors are, you already knew that...
Val Kilmer and Tom Sizemore on Red Planet hated each other they refused to be on the set together which led to stand-ins and doubles being used. Also Brando and Jack Nicholson on The Missouri Breaks hated working together. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey didn't get along on Red Dawn which made their performance in Dirty Dancing awkward but they ended up calming down. The scene of Grey laughing while Swayze is upset actually happen. Grey laughed because him touching her tickled.
"Shortly before his death, Paxton expressed enthusiasm to reunite with Hunt for a Twister sequel, which, of course, sadly never came to pass." Didn't a Twister sequel happen recently? I had never seen the original and wasn't interested in seeing the sequel, but I am fairly sure a sequel happened...
There was a sequel but it didnt include Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt. I dont know that the actors would ever have been offered a part in the sequel but Paxton died several years ago, so it wasnt ever an option.
"Marlawn" lol Somebody commented on another video that they mispronounce things on purpose for comment engagement. It was on a video they pronounce Cillian Murphy as "Sillian". Ever since then, I can't help but notice how many names they mispronounce and I'm starting to believe that guy. But here we are, so it must be working lol.
While Hate is strong word, Hope and Crosby were known to keep their relationship strictly professional. They did their shtick and went their separate ways.

Everything I've ever heard in regards to others working with Brando has been that he's a massive prick. "He acted for a long time".. don't care. He was a prick for a lot longer than he acted.
I knew more than a few of those but #1 made me 'whaaat?' Out loud. Mostly for how unexpected that pairing was than the fact that... well nobody ever liked Brando anyway so no surprises there 😂
"You'd be forgiven for not knowing..." Er... that's an extremely famous movie, iirc, the last one Chaplin directed, so expecting people to not know Brando played the lead on it sounds wild to me.
I heard that Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) was such a pain on the "Star Wars" films that when he left to get lunch every day, everyone else used it as an opportunity to bitch about him to each other.
That would be untrue. Anthony Daniels couldn’t got anywhere on Star Wars. He was in the suit the whole day. They made a seat for him to sit on between takes. Often the forget he was in there and lean on him like furniture or act like he didn’t exist.
they don't hate each other at all, they just aren't close. Adam has nothing but nice things to say about Jaime whenever he gets asked questions on his youtube channel about him, other than at times they just were oil and water.
NCIS’ Pauly Perrette and Mark Harmon (Abbey and Gibbs) - after an incident early on, they stopped filming scenes together. If you watched the show, that means all of their exchanges (which were many), had to be shot in two completely separate halves and then put together coherently (and it was done shockingly well!)
My radar is up for misandry. I find it obvious that my fellow liberals & progressives are shooting themselves in the foot with it. HOWEVER, it's important to test for it by running metrics, not by approximation. Since 10 pairs of co-stars are easy to count, I went ahead and did so. This video lists 7 women and 13 men. So it's only 65% male. Coin toss test: Even if someone claimed to be choosing between men & women for a faultfinding list by flipping a coin, a 65% bias against men would not be suspicious. Therefore this list isn't a problem unless statistical sources show that women are more likely to hold grudges against coworkers. That would make this list propagandistic, but I stress that that's just an off-the-cuff hypothetical. Now, I recognize that your comment is casual in tone and that you did use the term "stereotype." Means you were never going to claim the thoughts you shared were statistical, and it's silly of me to respond in this way, yes/no? 😊
Stealing jokes is serious business among comedians. I get where he's coming from-- none of that would've happened in Myers at least acknowledged the inspiration.
There is no greater crime amongst comedians than stealing another's material. Even Robin Williams had people pissed at him because he would do this, possibly subconsciously.
Did ANYONE actually like Brando? Everything I hear about him suggests he was an insufferable dva everywhere he went.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say anything nice about him aside from him being a brilliant performer
@@Fools_Requiem same, but Charlie Chaplin wasn’t any better.
And rapist.
I wouldn't be surprised if one day, on his death bed or after he dies, Lucas admits that Jabba the Hutt was based on Brando!😹
Wally Cox liked him. They were high school buddies. Possibly more than buddies, some said.

What I liked was Lee Marvin saying that Oliver Reed was the only actor he knew who could drink him under the table.
‘Hate” seems a bit strong for most of these examples.
Imagine bullying a co-star because your boyfriend didn't get the part. Horrific behavior.

The greatest act was our friendship.
I hate people that think that because they work with others that they have to be friends with them. Just let me do my job and go home when I'm done.
When was the last time you had to kiss someone you hated on screen?

“Twisters” seems to be viewed as a sequel to “Twister”, but it’s just another movie about storm chasers 🤷♀️
michmirich Phillip Seymour Hoffman couldn't come back for a sequel for the same reason as Paxton.
The original is actually a good movie. The sequel is ridiculous.
Context clues my guy... she obviously meant a sequel with the original cast.
That's why I work alone. 😊
Marlon Brando is one to talk. He had a history of being a diva, and was nearly impossible to work with.
WTF is with her pronunciation of MARLON BRANDO?!🤪😹

Didn't Russell Crowe beat somebody with a phone a while back? Not a lot of room for him to talk about a co-star beating people up.
I'm pretty sure it was a hotel clerk BUT what we never learned was if it counted as his one phone call
😹
He also attacked an awards show producer for cutting away from an acceptance speech he was going on about.

What about Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw in Jaws?
There was also Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn, or did you exclude series on purpose?
They were exes, so there was a reason for that.
@andrewharper1609 I see. Thank you
There was so much drama with them that they need a video just for them 😂
@jennb213 True. Wasn't it stipulated in their contracts that they were to have NO scenes together in the show?
I'm guessing Prinze made those comments before 2022...
A twister sequel did happen
With a completely forgettable cast

NOT 3PO AND ARTOO!!!
That one is so *LEGENDARY* I'm surprised it wasn't brought up in a SW discussion on HIMYM!😹
To be fair to Chaplin, *everyone* apparently hated Marlon Brando.
I worked on 24. Kiefer was awesome. Freddie was rude and unfriendly to everyone.

Lot of male actors not getting alone with each other in this list . The stereo types is women not getting alone or men and women not getting alone .

Left out Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte who by all rumours HATED each other
I think for #10 both sides of the story check out 😂
I just watched The Tourist. I really didnt get why Johnny and Angelina were so stiff in it. It should've been a great film.
i pretty sure a guy whose to lazy to learn his lines shouldnt be judging anyone else marlon brando
How funny. The protocol droid, C3P0, turns out to to be rude and unsociable.
I think it was something between them. I've heard nothing but good about their interactions with fans
