I definitely remember playing GTA on my 486 DX2 66MHz. It would randomly crash, but I still couldnt get enough.

i just play it at the 320x200 resolution for best performance

GTA 1 works well on my Pentium 75 PC with DOS/WFWG 3.11

The manual to this game states a dx4-100 as min requirements but how is that remotely playable lol

could be for the DOS version, which requires less power to run

Late reply, but that's probably for 320x200, the game's running at 640x480 in this video which is way way more demanding.
