i played starcraft for the first time on my 486, it took me 4 hrs to do a single mission because of the fps.... at the time i did not knew what fps were so i thought the game was slow on purpose.....
Only the dos version of Red alert with lower resolution has a better performance on the 486 machine.. Wouldnt run the higher res version on it. Seems to be a little bit stuttering. (doesnt run smooth)
C'est quoi le film ?
P90 was the minimum config I had a Pentium 1 100 Mhz It was the last recent game that our family PC could runs. We played for weeks. We were so praised because between 1995 and 1998 we played Warcraft II a lot. P.S : On bigger maps it started a bit to be slow.
brilliant
All are not playable
Amazing, epic track gives me shivers, one of the best trance tracks all time
After nearly 15 years of listening to trance I always find songs I’ve never heard. Beautiful
GTA 1 works well on my Pentium 75 PC with DOS/WFWG 3.11
inner re bright!
i just play it at the 320x200 resolution for best performance performance>resolution
Lol :O
This was exactly the kind of comparison I needed to convince me to keep my Retro486 at DOS 6.22/Win3.1 vs. trying to bring it up to Win95. Yes, it would open up the chance for game compatibility and it impressive to see Starcraft even running on the 486 DX2-66, but I can't envision myself legitimately trying to play it that way.
го за водофкой, чего стоят эти чекания, а потом этот алкоразгон 4:03 !!!!
почему так мало просмотров?
Thank you! Best test!
If u want to play the remaster you will need at least octa-core 4Ghz processor and 16gb of ram. I love optimized games.
Super TEST 👍
Happy New 20 ✨🍀🌠💖🎶🎵🌟
🏆🏆🏆 crazy 13 years old but not a bit of dust on it - Gold !
Penttium 75 mhz was a bit slow to run starcraft I remember, like 486 100mhz especially if units were increased
Best version
3:00
I remember getting Red Alert for Christmas and playing on my 486. Ran so slowly but I loved it and played the Soviet campaign all the way - tank rushes in slow motion!
i played on a 486 dx 33mhz and it was so slow i nearly cried... but i still had xcom!
like for music and for vodka!
I played on an AMD 133mhz 486 that I overclocked to 166mhz. Ran win 98 se well, could handle mpeg2 videos well. Had 48mb ram and a 512kb video card from Opti.
ha the classic pvd style trance intro
The manual to this game states a dx4-100 as min requirements but how is that remotely playable lol
could be for the DOS version, which requires less power to run
Late reply, but that's probably for 320x200, the game's running at 640x480 in this video which is way way more demanding.
I cried. Nostalgia.
Dude music track name pls.

The DOS version of red alert works great on 486 machines.
миксы надоели уже
What graphics card are you using? At the moment I use an ET4000 W32P.
+Alexander Feld it is a S3 Virge / DX 4MB ua-cam.com/video/yDVI7jg7zJQ/v-deo.html
technology that got the Americans after crash Soviet Union in1991 demonstrates a Pentium processor (1993) and featuring the developments of the Soviet Union and Soviet scientist Pentkovsky, who stole them from USSR. So sad that americans just buy russian scientists that make this processor after( (Yes name Pentium it from Pentkovsky surname)
No, Pent means five, because it was the successor to 486 (586).
Thank you very much for this comparision! I'm going to build a DX4 system myself at the moment, so it's great to see some examples of what this machine is able to do.
My first 486 was the uber powerful i486SX-33. I thought back then that SX was the sporty version lol. Then I upgraded to the i486DX4-100 and played Aces of the Pacific at ultra high settings with no stutter like on the SX-33. Great times back then.
+AetiusPraetorian my first computer was a 486dx4 100 that was sitting in the shelf right next to a pentium 100mhz. my mom let me pick and i picked the cheaper one because they both had the same clock speed. one of the biggest regrets of my computing life. it was the fastest computer i had ever seen, but it was crap next to the other one. i can only imagine the awesome that it would have been to own the pentium instead. i kept that computer for 3 years and it was garbage by the time i traded it for my pentium mmx 233mhz. the pentium 100mhz would not have been nearly as useless then.
Pentium-S = POD83@100Mhz?
+Bloodbath2you not this is the type Pentium, Pentium=P5, Pentium-S=P54C
He runs a pentium classic (no overdrive for the socket 3)
finally find the right song what i searching for day after day i was looking for that track ^^thx man !
Hi friend! How do you install Windows 7 in AT PC?
hey, I have a super, unwanted socket 7 motherboard with AMD K6-II 350Mhz processor and if I remember correctly, 3x 128 MB RAM SDR-PC100 I tried with a Intel MMX 166Mhz but during installation of the system I got a message telling me that I had no Amount Required equipment, I think it was missing one instruction set ... an ATI video card in PCI. S3 Trio S3 Virge cards crashed the machine to the Windows installation. the hard drive is 10GB DVD player for windows 7 installation. the installation lasted around two hours. I did start AIDA64 from the network.
Understand. But when i tried install the windows 7 in AT PC, returned a message (if i remeber correctly) "the system dont have ACPI" and stoped the instalation in start. Do you know about this?
I would have to look a little more about the features of the motherboard. for now I do not have the material available ... but I will keep you informed. on what material you try to install Windows 7? this is not a windows 7 change, just the integral release.
I just looked at the manual for the motherboard (Asus P5A-B) this model has many ACPI, so I think it probably comes from your motherboard that does not have this option.
+Mundo das CPUs there are late AT Form Factor Boards that feature ATX stuff (you can run them either with an AT Power Supply or an ATX one) and with that, also come with ACPI Features. Theese are mostly Super Sockel 7 Boards (like the Asus P5A-B). With older AT Boards you dont get ACPI Support.
Beautiful, elegant, and very finely crafted progressive trance right here !!!!!!!! Soooooo gooood.:)
One of my favorites! <3
Un français ?
+Whathefrench : oui :)
