@@orhandalegend, yeah same dude. When I first saw him, I was like: “Oh my god, Godzilla and Kong are screwed,” and when I saw him die, I was quite disappointed..
"i dont know why they didnt include a proton scream". Classic bandai spirits way of doing things. I wouldnt be surprised if they already have a few special editions planned, one of em probably is gonna be a mechagodzilla active version with the beam effects, like what they did with Awakening Shin Gojira, KOTM Spitfire Godzilla, Burning Godzilla 1995, etc.
Not to mention the extra $40+. God have mercy if it has any other accessories
Would be nice that in an improved version of this mecha Godzilla we could rotate the tail spikes, move the rocket launchers from the back, reveal the thrusters, came with the proton scream and could rotate the torso
maybe just buy a NECA heisei gojira beam then repaint it red

Atomic charged claws effect
And red detailing with a bit of amour battle rust from fighting godzilla

I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about the tail drill. It would be cool if they included a detachable open tail drill which could rotate like in the movie. Articulated fingers, movable missile launchers, hidden rockets, and a proton scream would have been cool too, maybe we’ll get that in a special edition version. PS, i don’t have the figure because it’s too expensive and I have nowhere to put it anyway, but I’m just saying all of those things would make it better, and I would like to have one of these once I get the space and save enough money.
or maybe a 24 inch mecha which has a button to spin the tail drill and a proton scream just for fun
If it had all of these things it would be for sure worth the actual price

This figure looks really good, my only gripes is that there's no torso joints and no proton scream beam.
The figure looks AMAZING!! Tho I feel like it’s missing some paint, I would’ve loved to see more reds but over all it looks cool!
For sure, definitely needed a lot more red in the torso
In 2 years they’ll do the special color version which will have that color scheme for sure. Bandai is notorious for that

Kong (Optimus primal) mechagodzilla(megatron)
Making beast Megatron a dinosaur and Optimus a gorilla, was inspired after King Kong, where he fights three dinosaurs.
“That’s Robo Godzilla”! “No, that’s…that’s MechaGodzilla”!
The design of MechaGodzilla looks amazing! Idk why the director of the film said that Dark of The Moon is the worst TF movie. The director of Godzilla vs Kong said that MechaGodzilla was inspired by DOTM.
Because DOTM is really subpar out of the first 3 movies before they changed the main lead.

If we couldn't get a proton scream, I would like at least hand articulation. Especially since his hands are so unique
It would have been really wicked if they would have included missile effects parts similar to the one that came with cyberverse starscream
4:10 PREDICTION: S.H. Monsterarts will release a gun metallic repaint with red accents and a blast effect next year.
He looks great but the price is outrageous just like most of their figures.

There are so many things wrong with this figure
The paintjob is lacking the red highlights
The sculpt of the mouth is missing the proton scream
No alternative head for the proton scream
No beam effect part
The tail is too short
No drill tail
No punching or kicking effect parts
Articulation is lacking
Way too expensive
The pistons in the hip joints are at risk of breaking
welp they tryed atleast
I think Bandai will made the special version like the other SHMA soon someday

It's rare for a S.H. Monsterarts figure to have a effect piece or other accessories. I wish it was like how the early years were each figure had at least a beam effect.

I’m not too heated about the proton scream missing. It’s clear they prioritized the opening mouth over a small little detail. And I could always use the red blast effect from the playmates battle Mechagodzilla.

LED backlighting showing through the crevices would have really improved this figure
Thank God finally just got mine last night lol. The figure was really awesome, and tbh I don’t afford the figure but I bought it anyway I know it hurts my wallet but I really liked the figure and this is the only 1 time I will buy an SH monster arts lol. If you really like the figure go get one mate! Do whatever makes you happy YOLO and treat yourself sometimes :)
I really do love the look of this figure, it truly is gorgeous! :D He looks so awesome next to Godzilla, and King Kong! If only he came with more accessories such as his solar panels from the movie, effect blasts, and more hands, his waist could actually rotate, and the silver paint on him was more gunmetal to better match his appearance from the movie. Still, none of that truly takes away from an otherwise smashing MechaGodzilla figure! ^^ S.H. MonsterArts have knocked it out of the park again! :) Another amazing review, PrimeVsPrime! I just got this figure for Christmas 2022 and I love this figure!
If they add the red panel line, this figure would be the best shm figure
Now all we need is a DX version with more accessories for the full experience.

He said especially in terms of articulation if you have kiryu you should know his articulation is rather limited

I’m getting this for an animation that I’ll be making soon and I decided to watch a few reviews and my god did I make a good choice
A cool neat idea would to take some peices off and replace them with more red looking parts

Did you try swapping the fingers on both pairs, they do un tab from the base of the hands, the instructions say to plug them in

For some reason I was hoping for a robot that transformed into a robot
The one thing I really thought was neat about the GvK MechaGodzilla is how Legendary did something that hearkened back to the 1973 MechaGodzilla, and had the robot appear wearing a fake skin of the real Godzilla at the start.
