Bruh, thank you for saying that. They got swept by the nuggets last year. Then they decided to run it back with the same squad but expect different results. That's the definition of insanity.
If they get to the conference finals, how much more do you want? Is that to say every coach that gets to the conference finals and loses is a bad coach? Or we picking on Ham?
Stubbornness is only a good trait when you win. But lets be real. Lakers need to stop paying 2 players 50% of the whole salary cap. If you want a well balanced team, pay the role players what they deserve.
So who are you going to let go? They either break up the team or just pay the two players max. They would be offered Max contract by other teams. Is the lakers supposed to sign 7-8 good role players? This is how the NBA team work.
@Peter-hz3vs Yeah, get rid of AD and LeBron. I'm not saying they aren't good players, but they aren't worth half the salary. AD is phenomenal when he's on, but he's too inconsistent. LeBron is still really good but he is not the primary player anymore. LeBron does not deserve 50 mil a year now. He's still a great number 2. But one ring isn't enough for how much the Lakers spent on him. Its time to start over
Edit: Rondo and Dwight were paid the veteran minimum and anyone who knows basketball at all know that they outplayed their salary 5 times over.

I’m guessing you didn’t watch the full season! He was horrible with rotations, Didn’t know when to use a timeout or not. Didn’t run much plays, and Benching DLO and starting prince was just stupid!

I'm a Laker fan and i don't think Darvin Ham was that bad. We gave up big leads in every game of that series against the Nuggets... that's on the players.

They didn't have any point of attack defenders outside of Jared Vanderbilt and LeBron James but LeBron can't sit in the chair and defend for long stretches like he once could plus you need him to score so that why his defense is worn down over the course of the game especially the fourth quarter.💯🏀

Ham gtg. Media got their opinions but none of them are observing Lakers games from start to finish from October to the end of the season so their opinions are only based off primetime matchups. It took Ham most of the season to stop starting Cam Reddish, a good defender, but horrible shooter and it’s no coincidence one the starting 5 changed they went in a run. That only and the team isn’t in the play-in. These poor roster decisions/rotations are only part of his flaws. Dude refuses to call timeouts to reset the team and stop opponents momentum.
Nah, Ham was terrible didn’t use the roster properly and played his favorite players not the best players so he had to go, AD even called him out 😂
Lebron is the real coach in their team. That is why when he is on the team, the GM always hire a rookie coach so Lebron could control the team as a coach.
