Maybe you could fill one of the sketchbooks with "the little things" that you're excited to see again, as lockdown lifts? All those objects that aren't especially lovely or unusual, but which we haven't seen in over a year, may have taken on their own beauty while the world has stopped.

I recently did this. I ended up with a 2 x 2 inch book. For the cover, I repurposed some decorative card stock that was the cover for a used up notes pad. I started painting rocks and gems in mine.
Thank you Minnie! I've made tiny sketchbooks for doodling but didn't bind them the way you did. I like your way better! It would be very cool to see you fill these like you do your bigger sketchbook with landscapes, flowers, plants, movie scenes, maybe urban buildings (?), just all as miniature as the sketchbook. It might be challenging but if anybody can do it, you can.

Adorable sketchbooks Minnie! I use fabric swatches for a lot of mine too. Luckily my Aunt got a bunch of those sample books from the furniture store. Makes it feel so elegant! Lookin forward to seeing your beautiful creations inside your beautiful new books!

Just bee careful spraying your mirror next to your dracanea plant it might strip the leaves. Just move him before you spray I’d be sad to see you lose him. Mines called spickle and is 4 trunked he’s been my boy for 11 years now! But has some stripped leaves brown at the ends from having mistakenly sprayed cleaner near him it gets in soil too so have to try and change the soil x 🪴
I've made a few little sketchbooks and notebooks over the years. One I keep around with me at all times that has some important info in it and easily fits in to small places so it has no chance of getting lost unless forgotten about when it is brought out! I did a rather interesting one a couple years ago, about 1.2 inches by 0.7 inches~. I got it from making various folds on some note stand I got as a present. Ended up with some weird dimensions to save wasting paper. I made the outer cover of it out of the very same paper, just a couple more of them folded together and glued. But the genius bit is I also glued little paper clips on to one side and cut a little cavity in to the other so you can push the clips in to the holes and seal the book. It worked surprisingly well... after I covered the paper clips in glue to stop them fraying lol The book itself also had some folding pages, rather than discrete pages, for some larger things. I thought "this could be good for a mini-landscape sketch one day" and I still haven't filled it. It even has a secret page. I managed to fit a secret page in to a book smaller than a typical finger. I was rather proud of that. You need to be doing something odd with it in order to actually find the page. It was also a stitched binder, stitching is just so simple to do them. I also tried a metal wire from a cable tie on a more recent one I'm making for my niece, that kind of worked. That one you showed with the metal notebook binder was crazy, I'd not have the patience to do something like that.
So freaky! My first stand-pout thought “Is that a real cat in the box or did Minnie paint it? Then he adjusted. Cool little sketchbooks. The time may have come for a magnifying glass and the tiniest of brushes for detail work.
Awesome...inspired to make me a tiny book as the one I purchased 2 years or so ago (and have use every page) I paid about $16 (to be fair its quite thick) when I have paper and fabric and leather scraps! so inspiring Minnie.

I literally started to make absolutely the same sketchbook a week ago, but had stucked on making a cover. And since my country doesn’t sell glue due to covid I will probably not finis it and this week too. But thank you for inspo❤️

very handy if you have very little space to bring a sketchbook, like on a flight. one of those and a pen would be enough for a few hours of sketching

You could paint small animals in them like squirrels, mice, hedgehog, frog, etc.
