I swear, black decks that play gix or raffine seem to always have it turn 3 with guys ready to attack. What do I have to do to make shuffler like me that much lol?
Maybe you need to lose a lot of games, so you get some wins 😂🤷♂️ yeah, similar experience here, I remember trying raffine esper, and I was shocked how hard it was to get 2 drop into raffine - I played like 4-5 games and never got good opening. That made me really appreciate every time I see Skrelv->bat-> Raffine opening on the play 🤷♂️😂🦥
It's actually amazing, as you can set up wedding announcement on turn 3, then chump, then lockdown, destroy aggro's whole board (basically winning game), and you instantly get token on same turn for blocking/stacking board. And on next turn, for free, you have a 4/4, while having all mana open. I get what you mean, but wedding announcement is just perfect in so many ways. Honestly, even anthem effect is already solid enough to get this card in deck like this, because it makes every planeswalker way better (especially sorin vampires), and in most scenarios, you still get more than enough value :) At least that's my experience, thanks for comment!❤🦥
@@SlothMtg yeah in that specific case is amazing :) but doesnt work with all the token related effects in the deck unless you draw it first.i guess lockdown is just a lovely sweeper and deserves reserved slots ahahahha
@@MCKejml i think the idea is - given a deck with high density in value and most importantly the fact that you have lots of cards capable to handle different kind of situations; especcially when you play defensive you can do a lot with a single plainswalker. So essentially you give up on the possibility of selection (deluges) by just having a more higher % to topdeck the right card in every draw. thtas the reason lockdown is kinda out of place: because it's not always the perfect draw and you're not always gonna draw it given its3 copies without that much draw. And here the paradox: it's not in sinergy with the deck and it's 3 slots gifted to the shuffler but still plays well because the high% of aggro opponent your going to face in arena and the high efficency of this sweeper against the meta.
