Actually, I'm back on land now. My iMovie library is on an external drive that I don't take with me, so can't produce anything while I am away. HOWEVER, I did have plenty of time to think about my SYMEF build. I think the diyaudio deluxe chassis will do everything I need, including solving the holes / connectors problem. I like the idea of doing an Accuphase style dual mono design. I just need to work out whether I can fit two sets of toroidal transformers and capacitors into the chassis. I guess since the transformer on your BOM is a 600VA, I would use two 300VA transformers?
@@audionautica6843 That should work. The Pesante 3U with 400mm depth or 4U with 400mm depth could also work just fine coupled with a baseplate, feet and heatsinks, however these come included in the deluxe. The deluxe also comes with customization services
@@audionautica6843 The dual mono design with 300VA*2 will give you more separation between the channels, however the SYMEF type S is pretty immune to power supply variations as it has first class PSRR.
