Great video man thank you, I am wondering though, did you do some color correction in the thumbnail, the color looks drastically different from the tutorial result? Thank you
is there also another smart way to make that initial cup .. besides the 'screw'? (I'm new to Blender.. but in FreeCAD I used this kind of functionality actually a lot.)
I learned a lot.. but it's still way too fast at the end.. for me. I'm not intereset what you 'click' to achieve something, but what that actually does .. and maybe where you get it from a menu as well. Easier to remember than some click clicks.
I agree but, I think he tries to keep most of these videos approximately 12 minutes long.. give or take a minute. Condensation would tip it past 15 minutes.
As always, there is always a lot to learn. Didn't know the screw modifier to create round objects. Brilliant. "To sphere" was one I had forgotten.
Well done tutorial. Thanks!
7:09 could have used bridge edge loops with increased nmbed of cuts, then fix how you want
thank you man it worked so well for me
Thank you you're a genius I learned a lot 🔥🔥
Thanks !

5:25 why not use grid fill?
Nice tutorial btw!
how to set the mesh edit mode if its missing?
It would look more realistic with water vapor on empty part of the glass. Because it is a hot drink.

@@loofa4775 no it doesn't take that long. I used noise texture, color ramp and bump to create water vapor.
@@gy3940 I was thinking of a texture similar to what Blender Guru did on one of the past doughnut tutorials. But that would work wonderfully too
@@loofa4775 yes Blender Guru did a coffee cup. I don't remember how he did but he did with a texture.
