Him gaslighting her for half of the drama and hiding his identity really got old. Not to mention that her life was in danger many times because of it.
Hi @@stephanien6237 , I get your point. I oppose his gaslighting of her. He understated his wealth. If you think about it, most affluent people operate this way to avoid being exploited. Claim another job and live below their means to guarantee that their partner loves them and is not with them for the wrong reasons. Should he have lied? No, but to say he was gaslighting her is a little too much in my opinion.

I enjoyed this version. The ML seems young, and I've never seen him before. He did well in his role. Just wished they had more time with their son, they always waste time with irrelevant people and then the most important parts and ending are rushed, just like any other. This is still worth the watch!

Most of the angst could have been avoided if Mr Su had just treated his daughter better... she ended up with the man they wanted her with anyway. But it was so satisfying seeing her one moment severing familial ties with them and the next moment being adopted into a bigger and better family and because they had no connection they couldn't exploit them for connections or money 😂😂
