This was the better version of this story. I LOVED that the ML told her straight up what he expected of her in their marriage, that even though it started as a contract, he wanted intimacy; he was always very straight forward and open to communication. Sometimes he would have initial bad reactions (you know, like a normal human being), but then he would always come round to address the topic again. The FL too, for the most part, wasn't a complete idiot. They BOTH managed to figure out that they'd been played by the ML's desperate ho of an ex-wife. But the FL actually TOLD HER HUSBAND HERSELF about her former pregnancy in a move so surprising for one of these dramas, that I knew their relationship was gonna be solid ever after. Natch. It's a bit overlong, but it's a good show.

I don’t understand why in almost all of these short cdramas, why doesn’t the villain girl just sleep with the main guy in the first place? Why did they drug their sister to take their place? To avoid the pregnancy process or something? 😂
The number 1 gripe I have with these dramas, is no subtitles for text messages they show on the screen!! If I need subs to understand what they're speaking about, what makes them think I can READ IT!???? The second is the 'SFL steals FLs man at the beginning of the drama' trope! Like, congratulations! You got your man! Now go live your life with my sloppy secondhand trash that you picked up! Go climb your corporate and social ladders and leave me the f**k alone!!! Also, why the FLs always go to these class reunion dinners is beyond me! They know damn well that they're only going to be insulted and belittled the entire time!! Why go to a gathering where you know you're just there to be everyone's proverbial punching bag!?? I wouldn't be caught dead at one of those lunches/dinners!! No, sir! Not me!! The ONLY excuse I'll accept for their presence at one of those, is if they're there to accomplish a certain mission or to get revenge!! That's it!!

With the number of dramas I have seen, I MIGHT be able to understand a few spoken words or phrases here and there… but READING text messages, etc., NO WAY! Definitely need subtitles! I also agree with your other gripes and have a couple more to add: 1) When a character runs home to family that constantly abuses them, and they don’t notify anyone or take anyone with them for help/backup; and 2) When a character accepts drink/food from others who have been known to harm them in the past. Like, really? I know it’s a drama & we are supposed to suspend logic or reality, but it makes it that much harder to connect with the stories and characters when they portray such illogical tropes. That said, I still enjoy watching them! I guess my actions don’t make much sense then either, huh?! 🤷♀️😊
That's one of my biggest gripes as well. Not being able to read the text messages is huge! A great deal of the plot is usually in texts now. I've started using Google translate for those. It works most of the time.

Not like there wasn't plenty of evidence to land her there. Happily, no lasting harm was done. Another good one, despite the opening scene. But speaking of that scene, the amount of years that it happened prior seemed to keep changing...I think it was first said to have been 3 years previous, then 4, then 5. Something like that. 😅 Maybe I misunderstood.

At 23 minutes into this drama, ML has the most understanding mom that all brides wish for! The ‘step-son’ is probably her own flesh and blood that her ex sold [ and probably drugged and had set her up] I think ML can probably walk but playing an act so he would not marry that schemeing selfish greedy ‘fiancée’ who looked down on him when he was in a wheelchair. Why ML didn’t think of getting a marternity test for DNA for his wife when he has these suspicions about 5 years ago at the hotel.
