Sigh, poor Dasmond having to keep stopping himself from bursting into tears. Please stay strong Dasmond, everybody else, all his family members, fans and friends/colleagues. As a father who had served NS...went through it and sustained irreparable injury (thank God I am alive today) and now having to see my sons serving their NS... My heart went out completely to Aloysius's family. Too many lives have been lost in peace time and we need a solution to this ever disturbing news!

This is a really big one, 4th death in the past one year in the ARMY. This time round a celebrity... a real pity.. so young with a bright future... I'm from Malaysia, Literally idk who he is at first. So I search and find out he was Singapore actor. And remember I knew him from drama but didn't know his name. Oh god can't imagine how much he is in pain when got crushed between end of barrel and the cabin.

The way they spoke had a sense of respect towards them. The reporters also have a job to do. On the other side, this was a press conference meaning that desmond and kenny wanted to let the media know what was happening
okay maybe i am quite cold hearted, im sorry if i dont seem to you that i want them to have privacy and grief. But i do believe this was the best way to inform his fans and public of how they are going ahead and helping him back home safe
Don't get me wrong, I fully understand Kenny and Desmond's intentions for having this adjunct press conference, and that the reporters have to do their jobs as well. My concern was regarding the way it was carried out. Everyone was just fighting to ask their own questions, and many were insensitive and redundant eg: " what is your fondest memory of him". Just my take on this.

Without sending me to do x-ray even though my knee was swollen for 3 days. Such is the culture of Singapore army..They assumed you are pretending when u report sick.

I feel for the Brother as he is in a grieving stage and anger is part of it whereby “why this had to happen to his younger brother??!”. He also said they are trying to come in terms with it. He is trying his best to settle the media request he also keep saying that he did not even see his phone and do not know what is going on at the moment as everything is so sudden. So thats how push he is into the like lime light when he is not even a celebrity.
