      However this wisdom is beyond BJP or Congress, it is INDIAN wisdom, not BJP wisdom or congi wisdom (Shastri Ji, Indira Gandhi, PVN, Atalji, Modiji - have all shown this wisdom through their leadership)

      @@ಭಾರತೀಯ_ನಾಗರಿಕ I can't remember a foreign minister as good as S Jaishankar. So I agree to disagree. Previous ministers were not this brave and clear. They were afraid if they say something bold they will face consequences. But S Jaishankar knows behind him a Strong leader like Modi is standing who will support S Jaishankar if he is right. Putin to Trump to Biden why everyone says that Modi is very strong leader ?
      Did they say this for Monmhan sing ?
      Indira Gandhi was brave but foolish. Her actions cost us badly like USA sanction and limiting nuclear power trial.
      Modi is brave with a brain. He does what he wants without making others angry

Great our EAM Sri Jai Shankar Ji for articulating India's strength that western biased media cant understand. One need certain level of IQ to understand Chanakya Neeti. I'm sick and tired of the same questions from western bots the so called “ rules based International order” where was this international order when India was attacked in 1947, 1962,1965,1971,1977 ???
    Or does this international order only comes to effect when the issue is affecting the national interest of the west. Buch of hypocrites.

    The West sees everything within their own context. It's so simple. India is only doing what is beneficial for India. Working with the QUAD to balance China and also working within BRICS to safeguard against USA financial hegemony.

    Shri Jaishankar very succinctly enumerates the 3 vital pillars that feed into decisions India makes - history, political culture and the thought of security. On the subject of India's history - especially foreign policy, Dr, Jaishankar states stresses on the point of being able to act with autonomy - exactly what being independent and a sovereign nation is all about. Being able to navigate relationships with different groups and develop great working combinations across them, as Dr. Jaishankar puts it emphatically, is India's service to the world. India's actions are targeted at a broader collaboration in an increasingly multi-polar and complex world. This is India's strategy and is based on its unique ability to execute it with a steady hand across different groups of nations.

    We still need to tackle the problem of western racism against Indians. Being allies is one thing, but being allies with a people who hate and dehumanize you is not okay. We need to make our foreign strategy align with the ground reality of the world otherwise we will end up fighting alongside those who hate us against those who show us goodwill.

      Clear communication is important. We may think that everyone SHOULD understand our position, but that's not the reality of the world. It may get annoying and it may hurt our collective ego, but we don't lose anything by explaining our position repeatedly. The important thing is to be consistent.
      Much of geopolitics is about shaping perspectives. If we stop explaining, it will be interpreted as we have something to hide. Unfortunately we are not a superpower that can get away without anyone questioning motives. We need to be pragmatic and understand that reality.

    • @varunshivan9569
      @varunshivan9569 16 днів тому +2

      I used to think like that until I read and understood geopolitics.
      It's extremely complicated as choosing one boat means dealing with its pros and cons, if in any case that boat sees you as foreign or alienates you then you are at very heavy loss of political power.
      Western countries will always see eastern countries as foreigners no matter the words spoken or hand shakes given, it's basic human biology.
      It's not a choice but a necessity for India to have neutral or legs on two boat geopolitics. We can't trust the west and we can't completely rely on the East either.
      Only time will tell if this was a wise choice or not, but one thing is certain, we will not have heavy loss of power either way if this fails or wins.
