@@atlallthetime8193 The old shotguns could kill in one shot at point blank range, which was great if you found yourself in a close range situation against someone with the sword. With the new shotguns taking 2-3 shots to kill, the sword ends up being a bit too powerful for close range battles because you can't kill someone mid lunge.

Have you ever thought about uploading shorter clips (like this overkill) to UA-cam shorts? You could get a lot more traffic to your channel with how gaming clips blow up on there
i tried uploading a short once but it did really bad. if it was a guaranteed substantial increase in views i might do it, but i feel a lil dirty cropping my videos when it doesn't really make sense for the vertical format, so rn i don't plan to use it (unless i have a video that works better in that aspect ratio)

It seems to work best firing from a distance. Unless I'm close enough or in a pickle, I try to stay away from the melee combo like the shotgun of past Halos.

I don’t mind it. The 1-2 melee seems effective and the 3 shot kill is still faster ttk than most basic weapons it just has a really wonky close-mid range.

Wow. This overkill was so good I fucking heard when it happened without watching because of its absurd pacing.
I had started the video but I busy cooking and not even watching it when I heard the longest overkill ever. The pacing of it was so slow that I instantly knew it was the one just from the rhythm.
This overkill covered so much ground. This is was like,the maximum amount of time between kills to keep continuing the kill stream. And it shows because of how much distance was travelled during the whole thing. Even before the grapple.
That was a sweet overkill.

do you record from theater ? whenever I try and record from theater it captures everyone else's AI sounds which is really annoying wondering if you know how to stop it from doing that.
