I want to know why rab pads aren't given more recognition. Bought my pad a few years ago after a TON of research. It is thick (not quite this thick but thicker than most!) and insulated. The price was great compared to all of the other good options too. Rab stratosphere 5.5. 8cm or 3.2 inch thick.
We are fans of Rab. We have two gear testers from the UK and the cover Rab very well. We have reviews on this channel and Engearment.com. Thanks for the note!
The most important factor for me is the mat's packed size and how easily it fits back into its sack after unboxing. I recommend including this information in your review. Thank you.
Looks comfy, just wondering about noise? I have the Thermarest Comfort Plus XT (car camping) and very comfy, but man is it noisy. I can only use it when i go solo camping or maybe with my kids who sleep through anything. My wife can't stand the noise when I roll around.
Great question. I should have addressed this in the video. It is much better than the previous pads. Almost no crinkle sound. I had some of the first NeoAir and those were like sleeping on potato chip bags 😆😆. The Loft is so much better.
Hey! I am not 100% sure. I just whipped the pole set up out and put it together. The poles are all attached and I just set it up. But I would think that having the short pole on the top would be more advantageous. Good question!
Thermaest Neo Loft is 26" wide according to Thermarest not 25" wide. One does not have to be a total spec geek to do product reviews but getting the basic specs correct does add more credibility to a review. And yes.... as mentioned in a comment below the center crossbar on the hubba hubba tent does it go above not below the other tent poles.

@@zombieunicorna4249 Looks like a very nice pad! Good R value and packed size.
I’m highly considering the Stratosphere pad. I hope it’s good if I do commit. The only issue is it’s big when rolled up.
@@petercruz1993 I think it's a great option
Very nice. I may just pick a couple up.
If you do, let us know what you think. Happy adventures! 🏕️
I own the Thermarest Topo Luxe with 4 inches of loft but this definitely tops it. Time for an upgrade!
Ditto! The Luxe is great. But so far, no backpacking sleeping pad has this thing beat. I think it is going to change the way some pads are designed.
Great review, really excited about these

I am with you on that. I just put it in the pump sack and dont even carry the stuff sack.

@@Engearment ok great to know, thanks!
Does the short pole on the Hubba Hubba go under or over the long pole? Im sure it used to be over but it looks like you have it set up under. Thanks!
