She was fantastic as the original version of the character. A solemn ancient warrior from another world that has been around for a while and isn’t in the mood to talk but just fight. Once they tried to make her character more hopeful and lighthearted with more emotions it became hard on Gadot, especially since English isn’t her first language.

First of all, stop blaming Gal as a terrible actress. The vibe we got her in BvS UE, WW & ZSJL showcased she is Wonder Woman. What went wrong in her performance was we had the studio along with Jenkins & her gang, who forced her to become a laughing stock and proclaim her to be worst actor of all time. None of the ZSJL actors are worst. Snyder and his team chose them carefully gave us the heroes we deserved in his guidance and directorship.
Wanna blame someone who made her worse?? Always the studio.

I didn't think Gal Gadot was bad. She was quite terrific in my opinion. At least in the movies she had a prominent role in. We just haven't seen other live action iterations of Wonder Woman. Even though I appreciate how her depiction of the character gave much needed recognition to the character at the time, we can all collectively agree that Gal's acting wasn't the best for such a great fleshed out character like Wonder Woman. Her depiction as Wonder Woman really did dome damage to how general audiences percieve the character as they only really touched the surface of what makes Wonder Woman the most influencial female superhero. I truly hope they cast an actress that can really being the fierce, warrior dexterity, but also balance the compassionate, loving and gentle nature of Diana's character. It would also be an added benefit to have an actress that actually is Greek

If someone had good acting in early movies and only became less charismatic as the movies went on, are you sure it has to do with the actors or actresses and not the directing?
