2:15 What the heck happened to his dog, I literally stopped listening and watched the dog do his thing 😅 What a legend dog, making my day a bit better 😂
On move 7 I started watching the cute doggo performing his usual gymnastics. I had to take back the video after realizing on move 13 I was still watching the dog!! Love your vids Agad
8:50 -- Magnus probably didn't play Kh6 because he was afraid of, not Qf7+, but Qe8+ (picking up his b5 rook after his king moves), perhaps being unaware of how utterly dominating his position remained after the loss of a spare piece (Black would have M11 after Kh6, Qe8+, g6, Qxb5, but if you're low on time in Rapid, you wouldn't see it).
It doesn't work because, after the g6 blunder, it's White's move. (If Black plays Kh6, he's winning, and so doesn't need to sacrifice material. Note that White's position is hopeless because the Black pawn on the 3rd rank can't be prevented from queening unless the White queen trades herself for it.)
Nakamura,if you r reading this, then Happy Birthday!Wish u all the best and hope to see u in the best shape asap!Do not be upset about losses, keep on moving forward!U r genius and u r pretty close to Magnus's level of gameplay! Please continue to do what u r up with now and again,Happy Birthday!😚

@Jacob Gaudet No you misunderstood me. Adi said, "I mean Magnus's lifetime blunders in recorded games. Wouldn't be more than double digits". That means in his opinion Magnus in his career of recorded games has not blundered more than 99, (double digits), times. I agreed that Magnus has probably not blundered more than 99 times but I opined that he blundered more than single digit ie. more than 9 times.
Wow it's been a whole year since I am following you because I remember watching that video (the day it was uploaded) when Woody played the opening move that Caruan didn't want lmao. But you were more amused back then, not so much today?
Great content agad. Maybe it could be nice to put the link of the analyzed game (chess.com or lichess.com) if some of us want to analyze some side line and are too lazy to copy/paste the pgn. Plus it would be nice i guess for lichess's servers to avoid analyzing several times the same game
#suggestion There are a number of games from the Women's Grand Prix tournament in Monaco that may be of interest. This is part of the Women's World Chess Championship cycle for the next match (not the one in January 2020 between Ju Wenjun and Aleksandra Goryachkina). Paehtz-Cramling from round 4. Black had an advantage for much of the game, but perhaps not a winning one, until move 43 when white blundered. A classic trap that even still catches top level players. Harika-Goryachkina (rd 5) is a nice Semi-slav won by the WC challenger continually pressuring her opponent. Dzagnidze-Lagno (rd 6) is a crushing miniature by black against an anti-KID English. Cramling-Goryachkina (rd 6) shows how misplacing your pieces is detrimental to your result. White strands her QB over on h4, and black takes advantage with piece play on the queenside and the center. Also it's the QGD, Cambridge Springs.
At 9:50 if Magnus moves his queen to h6 then Levon has to trade bishop for queen and then Magnus has 2 rooks for a queen so is it not playable cos I have seen in the past that sacrificing a queen for 2 rooks is a good trade
Can someone explain to me why in the theory line if magnus brings the queen to 6thrank he wouldnt simply double his rooks up? Why is that a draw instead? White cant check as its blocked by blacks queen which is in turn guarded by the king. Once the liren rook sac occurs isnt that a guaranteed pawn push for magnus?
After King H5, Qe8 would have gotten the undefended rook if I'm not mistaken. Technically would have still had an advantage but would have been less of an advantage for black.
Why at 8:47 the best move is king h5? Doesn’t that allow white to play Qe8 forking the king and rook and eventually winning the rook? Sorry if it’s a dumb question, but I don’t see any counterplay for black. Also your dog keeps getting progressively crazier :)
He is down 2 rooks vs 1 bishop. Even if he caprures 1 rook, it will leave black with 1 rook versus 1 bishop. Plus he will get the first move. So he will probably just check mate the white king.

This one hurt to watch live, especially when the commentators had highlighted g6 as a huge blunder right before it was played without hesitation by Magzzy !!!
benoplustee Nope. Maurice and Peter said the classical games were more meaningful than these rapid & blitz for MG. Well, he doesn’t lose to a 1500. He lost to 2700+ gm. He was more disappointed on losing with MVL than Levon.

Hahaha. Nice comment 😄

Agad's dog is also a perfect entertainer, I missed the whole opening cause of that guy😂

2:19 the dog does not like the position

The problem with this match is that I can't stop watching the dog.
I wanna see how Magnus blundered, but the dog is just too active a piece.
the only time I would have played the same move as Magnus...and it's one of his worst blunders. Great haha
I also looked at G6 and thought it was the best move lol
I played g6 cuz it looked more closed even though the bishop can come in.
If I had put more effort in I would have moved the king.
Me too
Magnus Carlsen after blunder:
Sorry about that
@Donald Trump there's never an opportunity to capture blacks rooks because it's not whites move when they are lined up.

@Donald Trump Pretty sure agad just gave wrong defensive move. Moving the king is probably the reason why the queen check isnt good for white
