Hola Jose!, i been watching your videos for years now. This year im finally gona start refilling my Pro 100 (After collecting sets and sets of empty cartridges) I can only say Thank you so much for all the information provided. This machines are hard to understang without the proper guide.
This method is truly impresive! i would love to give a try in the future. My only concern compared to Pre Modified and flushed CLI-42 is the posibility of mixing inks and water due to improper cleaning or drying in the syrenge/Chamber (almost would want to have a unique syrenche and chamber for each color? maybe overkill or overcautious jaja!)
    cheers!

I worked in a ink refill business for almost 20 years and we used to refill canon ink tanks in a similar way using the JE1072 jig from Jero, produced in Germany. It also filled HP ink tanks but we mainly used it for canons. It’s an excellent piece of equipment and I still use it to fill my Cli-42 ink cartridges today. My advice would be to batch fill one colour at a time, it takes a little time to set up but can refill 10 cartridges in no time at all.

I followed your instructions on how to drill a hole and flush the ink cartridge and it went perfectly. I have been refilling my CLI 42 ink cartridges for over a year now and it is great. Thank you

Hello Jose, I thoroughly enjoy your videos, especially the fact you repeat and clarify the point you are trying to relay to your audience. Now my question is cleaning/ flushing non adapted cli 42 cartridges prior to filling with the vacuum system. What is the best way? I’m in the Uk and I have purchased your chosen Windex cleaner, so I’m already. Would you advise using Precision Colours or Octoinkjet who are based in the Uk? Cheers and many thanks.

Cool method without intervention/drilling of the carts. This is actually how some HP and Brother cartridges are refilled, wish I considered this option for my Canon carts before modifying them.

Both methods are good. One a bit more invasive than the other. Both provide good ink delivery if done correctly.

Great Video Jose. Can you please show the process for CLI-781 C / M / Y / K and CLI-780 PGBK. How do we reset these carts? I don't get any video on these. Can we use Canon GI-790 Inks for refilling these carts?

Great demo Jose, this seems to work really well and looks pretty straightforward too. 👍

No watch the "Short" version. It will be a more realistic example of the whole process since I am not talking so much.

Got my refilling system and PC inks this week. Just finished filling my original cartridges. Excited to be saving money and printing more. Thank you for your knowledge and videos.
I have a question. Should I put a piece of tape across the vent of the cart after filling them? I live in an area with very low humidity and am not sure how quickly I'll be installing the replacement carts and am concerned about them drying out.

Great video I'm new to refilling, I always used oem inks in my R3000 that I have had since it first was introduced. I just bought a PRO 100 with less than a 100 print count it was not taken out of the box until 3 mo. ago and I have a question do you have to flush the cart of oem ink the first time you refill or are the to inks compatible can't I take one out and just refill it and but it right back in.

Flushing is always best but it takes days to dry after flushing. You can leave your printer sitting without carts installed. If You insist on refilling then buy a set of already modified and flushed carts from Rick Johnson. EBAY link is on my video descriptions. Then order ink refilling kit from precisioncolirs.

Have you done any testing to see if this works better than the old method of refilling?

    • @cheo1949
      @cheo1949  2 роки тому

Well think about it, You are no longer drilling a hole in the carts which completely alters the original hydraulics of ink delivery.

@@cheo1949 I understand the concept, but was just curious if it made a difference since the hole gets plugged anyway

Jose this looks like a nice system! Where would I find this system?

Not yet available. Needs a few modifications and passing my testing before they begin producing it.
