First time mum here 🙋♀️ I started looking up postpartum routine videos because I haven't had a routine at all and the way I pass my days now really isnt healthy. There isn't really a structure to my days. I wake up in the afternoon and have breakfast (cup of tea and 2 slices of buttered toast). Then, I have lunch a few hours later, and dinner even later, and a cup of tea in between. I sometimes feel hungry between the meals but I can't bring myself to go down and grab something whilst baby's sleeping upstairs. If he's awake I take him down and have someone watch him whilst I eat. What I eat and the amount I eat is probably not as good as it should be. Showers just feel impossible. I take around half an hour in the shower and I feel bad asking anyone to babysit for that long (except my husband but he's working at the times I usually shower). The most practical time for me to shower is whilst baby and my husband are sleeping in the morning, but I feel like I'm missing out if I don't sleep with them. My husband usually does the laundry. He washes everything and puts them out, then his aunt brings everything back in. Whenever I plan on bringing them in, baby starts fussing over something or the other and I get distracted. The only things I wash are my underwear. I seriously need to get a baby monitor. I think it'll really give me peace of mind and a bit more room to be responsible. Any tips from anyone will be really helpful.
Prenatal anxiety is real, I had suffered from a super bad anxiety episode a few months before finding out I’m pregnant, & now I’m in my second trimester & my anxiety has been worse, I’m so sensitive & any little stressful moment triggers my anxiety. I hate that for myself & especially for my baby, I know I’m not the only one! Please mamas stay strong out there it’s not easy at all but we have our little ones to stand tall for, don’t forget we’re humans & we can’t be our best for our babies if we’re putting ourselves last. Pray for peace & guidance from God 🤍🙏
Praying for you Mama!! I just wanted to share that I found this site called MilkMoon and I purchased their postpartum tonic. While on the site I noticed they have a tincture called 'no worries' that is specifically for postpartum nursing mamas and it has great reviews. It's not pregnancy safe but I plan to purchase it if I struggle with PPA this time around (I have with one other postpartum). Just wanted to give you this tip even though this is an old comment. Maybe it could help you or anyone else scrolling the comments that's going through anxiety postpartum!
I’m 21 weeks with our IVF baby and I can relate to the perinatal anxiety sooo much! Honestly, the first trimester I think I experienced more anxiety than the previous three years of TTC and IVF combined.
Boy oh boy he looks so happy with that happy dance he's so alert healthy healthy healthy love your positive energy I know it's a lot of hard work but you All are doing the best ever
I just recently got into your podcast while I’m at work and by far the best podcast I’ve heard so far and I listened to every episode In less than 2 days and I want to know when you guys are putting more episodes out, I’m patiently waiting and so excited to hear the topics you all touch on in your new episodes I think my favorite so far is either the Italy suitcase story or would you rather !
My little one turns a month in one week, the transition from 2 kids to 3 was definitely easier for me than 1 to 2, but I’m still dealing with anxiety about life in general, my main one is getting that one on one time with my two oldest kids which are 6 and 4 years old. You are doing such a good job, I’m hoping a routine happens soon for us so I can get more done and spend more time with my older kids and feel somewhat in control. Thanks for sharing!
Yes mama!!! Your doing a wonderful job ♥️ my daughter is 15 months and those new born days flew 😩 I did struggle allot!! But next baby I have I'm going to stress less!!! They tell you to go out and socialize and go to all these baby sensory classes etc I stressed so much about it and it it burned me out! They are a baby they only need you!! 🙈🤦♀️ Also I want to take a year off work instead of 6 months!! My postpartum recovery mentally physically and emotionally didn't come right till 1 year!!! And help if people are offering to help! Take it please please pleeeease I didn't accept help apart from only my partner I got so clingy towards my daughter which is normal 😅 even when her grandma kept offering to take her out for a walk etc I kept thinking the worst thing would happen 🤣 any way list will go on. Ppd is so real so please reach out xx
Totally needed to hear that I’ll need to care for me to care for baby. I’m due with # 2 in May and had ppd and anxiety last time so I’m focusing on me as well this time around.
Hi! Always love your videos, and it’s nice to see you’re family is doing great! 😊 Random question, what is the spray you use to clean all over your house?
I love your videos! Ive always loved your quick healthy meals too. Still go to Trader Joe’s? Breastfeeding mama here too be careful with peppermint it can lower milk supply, saw your power crunch bars
Thank you! It’s been awhile, I’m due for a TJ trip for sure! If only they offered drive up 😅 that’s the main reason I haven’t gone haha! And yes thank you! :)
You look great it's hard to believe you had a baby two months ago . How's Scarlett and her school going . My son tommy he will be six years old next month February 25th . You and ty work great together and your a awesome mom just wanted to say that. Great video always enjoy watching them . Have a great day 😊💞
Hi, congratulations on your new baby. We had our third baby a little over a year ago, and I still feel sometimes as if I am still postpartum. Question, when you drinking coffee, do you notice your baby’s sleep patterns changes? Thanks for sharing!
I do. I always nurse him to sleep too. We followed a strict eat play sleep schedule with my daughter who was formula fed but for Benny it’s more of a eat play eat sleep schedule
This is my second comment but 😮😮😮 why are these hematoma/hemmorags so common now days. My last two pregnancy the first one I bled so much my first trimester. Baby’s was “fine “. This pregnancy. I kept losing my mucus plug. In my first and second trimester. And my body Almost aborted her in my second trimester. . It seems since Covid. It’s so common.
Wake up , beast feed. Pass out. , wake-up breast feed. Change diaper pass out. Wake up , breast feed. Realize it’s 1 pm and I myself haven’t ate or drank. Manage to eat a bowl of cereal. Breast feed change diaper. Make dinner so I don’t have to later. . Rinse and repeat 😂😂😂😂😂. Bouncers are sooooo helpful for showers lol

My second baby boy is turning 1 next week 😢 it’s so unfair how fast the time goes
It really is!!!!! 😭
How can you drink coffee and still breast feed!? Curious because I’m breastfeeding and wanting coffee
It’s a personal choice jus talk to your pediatrician or a lactation consultant :)
❤❤❤
Kinda makes me wanna have a 3rd baby... 👀
I go to McDonald's just to get a diet coke too 😂
