I'm pretty happy with that flightpack. I never really liked the old school rocket packs. I couldn't get past how no one could steer them how they were designed. I'd like to see a trooper option with a feathree free pack.
How does my boy Big Boa keep getting looped in with these weirdos lol. He's not that strange considering his role. A lot less whacky than a scientist with no shirt.

Fun looking figure. The wings share design elements with Keaton's Vulture's. The articulation on them is very welcome. If I get him I'll heat up the headress and try to seat it lower on his head.
He’s a cool looking figure, but I’ll be skipping him. He’s too goofy of a character for me. Same with Big Boa. I’m waiting for the new storm shadow and the new figs coming early next year
Still waiting for mine to come but I reckon it's one of the top character updates. Looks pretty soild and more serious and could give spiderman vulture a run for his money raptor would make a good action film villian. The only other way they could make raptor darker would be to make him like a navajo indian witch doctor shaman or a skinwalker.
I figured they would go with the movie-style Vulture wings for him, so no surprise there, but a deluxe figure should have at least gotten the same open/closed wings options for General Ledger that Freedom got. For that matter, why is he so small? Sure Freedom is oversized but that's the established scale...still, I like him better than I thought I would. Glad he still has his ridiculously huge belt buckle.

Awesome review. I did not pick this one up. I think if he had a backpack with straps similar to the recent parachute and could be used with other figures more universally, he may have had more appeal.
So you were born in the modern era when they changed up a lot of original characters I'm an old-school guy through and through I don't like this figure I would prefer just a cloth Cape with a articulate bird. I don't need all that jetpack crap. As I always say I collect for Nostalgia I don't collect for new stuff but to each their own so fair enough. I don't see this figure selling well on the shells either just like metal headset this one will you can't recreate these characters most people that are collecting them and are hardcore collectors aren't going to want this
I would much rather have a fabric cape. These mechanical wings just look like a reuse of the SM: Homecoming Vulture. Not into it at all. Sucks, because I really like the character.
I never understood the double joints,no one really uses them,that i see out there ,and the same people complain about mythic legions for none double joints,but really no really uses all that double joint stuff ,who poses there joes with the legs up in the air or way out there ,its not a didlker party for the figs lol

I will say, this Raptor guy is certainly dedicated to the bit.
I had all 3 of these as a kid. Big Boa, Raptor and Croc Master. They were my favorites.
Will wait for target to slap this with a clearance price 2 months after its release.

Have you read indentation? Raptor ties into infeststion2 😂 I love the IDW version of the more ridiculous characters.

If you want them to crouch or look normal running it’s important. As for the arms, it’s the only way they are shouldering a firearm
