I’ve had my M3000 for 3 years and have put a little over 1200 rounds through it, about evenly split between trap loads and 3” duck loads. Still as tight as the day I got it.
Damn,I just bought that Identical Shotgun Thanksgiving weekend,At Bass pro shop in Gainesville FL, Hopefully mine doesn't start having issues,Shoots good, patterns well, Happy New year's, Keep the videos coming.
Thank you for this video I’m not even 500 shots through my brand new 3000 and it’s starting to become pretty lose and was wondering if I needed to contact them
had my M3500 V2 for maybe a month or two now and i’d say 300 shots and the stock is wobbling that and the paint is scuffing fast had some surface rust issues but that’s my fault for storing it wrong but the weather in Louisiana is ass backwards i need a safe
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors yeah i recently seen some Gun Sock things but idk if that’ll really prevent that much rust just have to keep it wiped down and friend of mines dad said Mineral Oil just rub it and leave it light coat it won’t rust as much so im gonna test that before i head out on a 3 day duck trip this wejeend
This just happened to me. It only happened at 53 rounds tho. At 20 rounds the bolt release pad broke off. Like the screw in there broke off half way now I have to find out how to take it out. At 53 the stock came so loose I had to put it away. I’m going to deal with the stock today but I will not have fun trying to take that broken screw out. My advice to anyone looking at these Turkish shotguns, tighten everything down and use blue locktite before you even shoot one single shell
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors I did not add a locking nut but got it very tight and added locktite. Hopefully I will not need to add more in the future. To be fair I shot federal tribal deep penetrator slugs right out the box. Whole lot of power. Mechanically everything is perfect. Just stupid loose nuts and screws
You know some Stoeger engineer said they should throw in a lock washer, but some exec said it would cost another 5 cents!!!!
Ain’t that the truth!

That’s good. If it ever does come loose, a little lock tight fixes it pretty good.
Turkish shotgun adapter, Magpul stock. Loctite and call it good as new. The furniture that comes on most shotguns is garbage ABS anyways.
I hear that. I have started replacing a lot of my guns parts with aftermarket’s. All the stock stuff is cheap!!

Happy new year to you as well! It is an awesome shotgun. That’s the only issue I have had with it and a pretty easy fix.
what size socket?
Shoot, I think it was a 15mm.
Mine did the same do I put lock right on the bolt and problem solved. Never had an issue after.
That’s what I ended up doing, a little red lock right and haven’t had an issue since.
Just got my last year and I bought it from my friend and he has that's ever since 20 12 and I have no issues with this gun
Awesome. It’s been perfect after this.
hey great video with a great tip, ill keep this in mind for down the road. thanks for keepin short and sweet.
It worked great. Still holding strong.

I was pretty frustrated too. Turned out to be pretty easy to fix. They definitely should have had better quality control on their shotguns.
Just get a 8mm x 1.0 locking nut tighten it down and your done no more issues ever
That would do it.

i need a safe
I was worried about that too. I was going to put my safe in the garage and decided against it. Just too humid here.

Yeah, oil is the best thing to prevent rust. Like you said, a light coat and it should prevent it.
Gun sock impregnated with silicone will help. You can also buy VCI capsules.
@@bham311 just ordered 2 of those 3 days ago still haven’t shipped them out supposededly
like $40 for 2 hope they’re decent what is a VCI capsule
Thanks for the information, I am buying one tomorrow, what do think a good price is to pay for a new one?
Anywhere around $500 would be good for new. $350 for used in good shape, as long as it’s not shot out.
I had to pay $577 for the M3030 20ga 28” barrel Max5 when I shot it worked great! There aren’t a lot around hard to find inventory!
That’s a pretty good deal. 20ga is a awesome round too.

It’s a shame that they haven’t fixed this issue yet.

@@ActiveDutyOutdoors thank you for your very helpful video btw
@@memicusdankis4212you’re welcome. Hopefully this will fix it for good.
Would the wooden stock have the same problem?
That’s a good question. I would think it wouldn’t be as prone considering the wood would absorb more of the shock.
Where did you get the limbsaver for your Stoeger P3000?
I am pretty sure I got it from Scheels when I was stationed in Montana.
Just a question about the stock if your still answering questions are they stocks changable ? Could I throw in a pistol grip stock for my stoger?
I don’t see why not, if you could find a pistol grip that fits it. It’s only held on by a nut and bolt.
It's the Hard Plastic Stock and you probably need a lock washer under the butt plate nut!
That’s what I put on. No problems after that.
Came with a shim kit didn’t it?
It did, but that doesn’t have anything to do with the stock coming loose. The shims are more for changing pitch and cast.
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors My shim kit had extra washers and lock washers in it. I don’t know if yours did also.
@bham311 no, just the shims. Though I haven’t had any issues since.
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors cool. Glad you got it fixed.
How much times have you shot it before it did that
I would say about a 1000 rounds.
@@ActiveDutyOutdoors i got mine bought recently and is an awesome shotgun
@@swordofomens3381 you won’t be disappointed, it’s a really nice shotgun.
Blue Loctite is your friend.
I ended up putting some on, no issues yet.
