Hi everyone wow things are looking so good love seeing all the yarns people are using it such a beautiful pattern. With regards to numb fingers and things I use the Makkin belt and dpn needles. This is what the Shetlanders use when they knit the lace . Learning to use the belt took me a while to master but it changed everything in how my body felt while knitting. you have more control and because the belt is holding the needle it means your hand is more relaxed no tingles and you can go faster. I used to use life lines and yes had big dramas with them so I stopped and if I found a mistake I would use a finer needle to pick up that sts and carry on. I used to also do what I call a practice one let the mistakes happen and just fix best as I could then when you do a second one because you have made all the mistakes you tend not to make that many because you know the pattern and get better at reading it. I hope you fell better Irina and can get lots of knitting done 💕
Thank you for hosting the zoom, I was so glad I could join. I have been to Amsterdam a few weeks ago, it is such a beautiful city! Of course I went to Stephen and Penelope and it was amazing. If there’s still some free space in your luggage afterwards, there‘s another lovely yarn store in Amsterdam called de Afstap, it‘s also absolutely worth a visit.
Wendy you can order the CiaoGoo swiv 360 cables independently and you should add a small to mini connector in your odrder they com in pairs, you could as well order small to big connecter if you knit with 5.5 mm and ove., That way you r swiv 360 cable would be good with any size needles. I love thses cables they are the best !!!
