Just by luck, I saw this snapshot, and wow, I have a photo of a vintage snowman that I have kept for years and dreamed of making! Really endearing watching the process and the use of found items🌲hopefully you will see this heartfelt thank you! Blessed and safe days!
Hello! I made 2 of the snowmen as you directed. It was such fun. They look so vintage. I used the ring of a ball jar as the base. It was really good to hold them while I worked on them. Thank you so much for sharing!!
I use an old bonnet hairdryer as a craft dryer. Pop the hose off of the bonnet and run it through a hole in a cardboard box or plastic bin with a lid. Works well for drying small projects.
Hi- I have been a florist since 1967. The best glue gun That I have found is a GORILLA GLUE GUN. When I am working on projects it might be plugged in for 8-10 hours straight. The Gorilla gun holds up much better than the so-called- professional glue gun that I paid a fortune for when I had my shop. I realize this post was a year ago, but I just found this channel. Hope this helps.
I love those snowmen, years ago, I made snowman with styrofoam balls . I used wax tarts that smelled so good. In white, and drip the white wax over the styrofoam. And they were my favorite snowman that I ever made
Hello Mary and Robin! These are exactly the kinds of Christmas ornaments I love best...vintage looking! Thank you so much for showing us how you make these beautiful snowmen. I'm closing my eyes tightly and making a wish that you'll make some more vintage looking ornaments :)
@@HoneyBeeBuz it was nice like two friends hanging out, but also as a teacher, I had to learn that the students want to focus on me, plus the voices over lap at times. So for an educational video, sorry but it needs to be all. commentary to relate to the lesson.
Way to go women! I love the snowman, can't wait to make him, I love that your editorial was realistic, just like I was there with you, love it, thank you for being you!
I like that batting too. It's called Warm and Natural, and I've bought it at Joann Fabrics. I love the way you fray the edges and cover styrofoam with it.
I am new to your channel and I love the snowman that this woman is making. I would definitely love a video that teaches us how to make a German feather tree branch. I love German things.
I would just use the lid itself for the base; that way you have a nice raised edge to glue the greenery/decorations onto, spay painted first, of course.
Hi there ladies...I'm new to your channel and really enjoyed this video. Wish I was there crafting with you! Love the snowman fabric. When I first saw it, I was thinking it was paper mache. I love the idea of guilting backing. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
These are delightful! Thanks for sharing. I ordered some of the warm and natural fabric batting and am looking forward to creating some! Thank you for the clear and detailed instructions! Are you planning to post another video? I see that the last ones are from two years ago. Hope all is well! 🤗
I love how cute these vintage snow babies are 🥰 the dou is so entertaining 😂 thanks for taking the time to create these videos for us. I want to learn how to make the trees!
I love your snowman ❤, they look vintage, great job 👍, a little glitter 😊, you guys are an awesome pair, great to hear talk like my sister and I talk to each other 😂, I would like to see a video of how to make the trees. Thank you. Happy New Year, God bless you both and your families.
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you for this video! I love the snowman and I love the glitter! I'll look for the mica too. Your use of quilt batting is genius! I have subscribed and hope that you've done a feather tree video! Jan in MA
I’m in the process of making one…I quilt and have the warm and “natural “ scraps handy, the hardest part is waiting for it to dry😂 at the dollar store I did buy a snowglobe that you would make for an ornament to the screw on base makes the bottom ball flat without having to cut a cardboard circle for base, then used two styrofoam balls for the middle and head so you can stick in twig arms and a nose Thank you for the idea
Hi - love the two of you together! Please show us how you make those sweet Christmas trees and would love to see the finished pink snowman. Oh and one last thing… I’m team no glitter 😊
Hi I am a new follower from PA. I love primitive and vintage/antique decor. I just love your snowmen. I believe it is called warm and natural.??? I definitely want to try these. I do NOT like glitter either Robin! But I can do a little at Christmas. I love adding cinnamon and vanilla to my coffee grunge the smell is amazing. Looking forward to seeing more. I would love to learn how to make the trees! You are a great teacher!
I have had trouble with the glue not holding the balls together after awhile. I'm thinking a dowel pushed through from head to the bottom might solve my issue.
Absolutely gorgeous I'm in love with these. My first time watching and yes I've subscribed. Please on the glitter and on the feather tree. I'm sure your take on the feather tree is unique and beautiful.
I just have to say that you two are awesome. Robin: "What about this, you could do this, right? Maybe you could even add this embellishment here and then......" Mary: "....... It's fine this way" 😂 The snowman is adorable, and I love the way Mary made the texture for the snow on his body. Oh, and I absolutely hate glitter. That shit is the devil. 🙄
Did you just use small strips on the snowman by patching here and there ? Wish you had did video showing you doing the warm and natural on whole thing instead of saying put on head. Need see how the body was done was it big piece to cover the size of ball? Because if glued together can’t get piece on
