What I like about you guys is how you are so respectful. You can hear the reverence in the way you explore.
i'm one of the continuance followers of your channel, and still can't understand where did those people go?! how did they leave this treasure which worth hundreds of millions and vanish leaving everything behind as simple as this?! strange!! a palace built 600 years ago and never been empty until 30 years ago!! wow... amazing
As someone from the U.S. I can only imagine seeing medieval castles such as this. I've always loved history, the older, the better. Thanks for giving us these tours, this place was one of my faves so far!!! JUST AMAZING 😍
Place needs to become a museum
21:24 that painting's subject is Emilio Benso count of Cavour, the first prime minister after the unification of Italy in 1861
The raised floor of Italian villas is called the “piano nobile”, meaning noble floor where the rich would have both their bedrooms and their living rooms. That’s why you often see an ornate external staircase leading to the raised floor on the facade of Italian villas, so they never needed to enter the ground floor where the staff worked.
I stayed in an Italian villa built in the 1700s, and it had a split ornate front staircase that lead to the living floor, as you described. The room it went to was gigantic with tall ceilings.
So true, for the finest example see the Caserta Palace. It's all about those grand entries leading to the upstairs and a massive staircase.
Nobile is my Family Name from Giulianova Italy Province of Abruzzo.
Same in England and many other places: two floors and multiple stairways... Servants working in the basement and sleeping in the attic...
Hello Lesley and Danny this castle was stunningly beautiful. Your presentation was flawless your hard work putting this video together was beautiful
These huge old structures should be rehabbed. They would make great wedding and event destination rentals. It's better than letting them go to ruin. Like that chateau in France on HGTV. That place is awesome.
Its hard for me to watch these videos because it breaks my heart all the beautiful furniture and artifacts r just left to rot!
Both of your voices are so calming. #unintentional_asmr #tingles #calming
To Lesley and Danny: What a fascinating video. You have both outdone yourself with this one. Lesley- your emotions give so much meaning to the story. Danny- your filming and interaction make you both a great team. Congratulations!
An absolutely fascinating abandoned palace! I love the precious luxurious interior design, the impressive works of art and all the other exquisite artifacts that make truly a museum out of this wonderful place! I love that art, style ,history, family and tradition are always the core of any Italian house.😍
You were great,guys, as always!
Thank you for this lovely exploration !
Hello Lesley and Danny

Beautiful place, it's a shame that no one takes care of it. It will continue to decay and history will disappear ....

Following from New Mexico, I love the respect you have not only for the owners but for each other. My favorite explorers❤️
agree from west Texas .
Wow what an extraordinary place, would be great to have it as a museum, so much history beauty. Thanks for sharing
I did a quick search about the lamp at 44:07. Grappa del Contadino made speciality spirits; I particularly liked the name of one of their wines: Gusto Morbido. I am assuming the oil lamp is an example of advertising gear for pubs and restaurants.
Another amazing place …thank you for allowing us to see all these wonderful places through you travels 😊
I try to watch all your videos..love them all thanks guys . awesome
So powerful yet relaxing ❤ great find to be cherished guys ...blessings always appreciate it.
The royal beauty of the architecture and and furniture is luxurious and beautiful. Facinating that people lived with such splendor and beauty. It is amazing to see so much perfection in their furnishings. Thank you for allowing us to see it. Love to you from New Mexico
This was a beautiful place. Thanks for bringing this to us ❤❤
My guess is that most of the weapons and armors are replicas made in the late 1800 or early 1900! Same with the portraits of people that are looking like they did back in 1600-1700, it's looks that they are painted by the same painter as the ones from early 1900, also the frames are not likely older than a hundred years! It was pretty common that people who owned old historical houses/mansions/castles decorate with replicas to show off...
You guys are so lucky to get to visit these amazing hidden gems as a profession, and your channel is definitely one of the most professional I've ever seen. I'm so grateful for you guys and your fellow explorers for bringing us these breathtaking images of crumbling edifices which would otherwise just be left to rot away into nothingness completely unbeknownst to everyone. Not to mention the stories of the people who inhabited these locations, whose lives would likely be forgotten by all but perhaps what family members or friends they left behind. If my home had to be abandoned and my things left behind after I pass, I would love for respectful and passionate individuals such as yourselves to discover it and record your findings and speculations about me, the person who left it all behind.Thank you for giving these special buildings one last hurrah and making us feel like honored guests at the party. Keep up the excellent work, fellas 😉💜
Oh my; how beautiful this place is! Thank you for sharing with us! Love video! ❤️👍🤘😘
Thank you, from Wisconsin, USA.
Another fine job Leslie and Danny. You two are so lucky to view such homes. I still wonder where did they go. There must be some of these people still alive to take over these fine homes. The antiques will drive you crazy to see them rotting away. Its just so sad. I would love to have some of these paitings hanging on my walls. We will wait for next weeks film. Stay safe you two and thank you once again.
OMG THAT TRI FOLD MIRROR TOOK MY BREATH AWAY
A gorgeous and ancient villa. Inside there's a curious mix of posh and expensive furniture, lamps, pictures, carpets and so on...along with far cheaper objects, which probably belongs to recent years: for instance, there's a lot a copies of famous pictures and some of the weapons aren't original but just ornamental. The dishes referring to food are just souvenirs of Italian typical restaurants. The first two portraits you found at the bottom of the stairs are not family portraits. The men caught on canvas are Giuseppe Mazzini (1805-1872), a great revolutionary leader of the Italian Risorgimento (resurgence, in English), and Camillo Benso, Earl of Cavour (1810-1861), the first Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Italy.
I too, Lesley get tears in my eyes when I go on these yours with y'all. So much respect in the weapons there.
I found this video the best video Urbex I've seen. Beautifully explained and seen. I give this video 100!! TY @Bros of Decay. Great job.. Excellent!
This home feels deeply lonely. Even with life lived here.
That’s so beautiful and adorable place, great job congratulations .. it’s so warmy home full of love
Que lugar tan espectacular 👌🏻
This exploration is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Just the amount of WEALTH THAT EUROPEAN PEOPLE leve behind is astounding!! I wish we had places like this in America, the culture is classical 👍😊 Great work Lesley and Danny

It makes me so sad to see all the stuff left behind. It should be in a museum, the paintings all the weaponry. Lesley and Danny, this was so well done. You really did an outstanding job as always thank you. Sending love and California vibes from LIZ.🤟🏻💜😎💕🇺🇸
I’ve watched all his films 😢 we need more ❤
I loved this palace. I pray those knights weapons are taken to a museum so they don’t perish with the home. Beautiful history and love how you and Danny have such respect for each item. Love you guys. ❤😊

That was incredible. Nothing vandalized, looks like everything is still in its proper place. Hard to believe that is still so authentic. Thank you for sharing that with us, we are so lucky!
Wow, my favorite is the matching furniture in the master bedroom & dining hall, i would love to have that! The paintings & ancient weapon are so amazing as well. Thank you for sharing !
Very clean without any mesh.......!
Gorgeous!
How can people just abandon such treasures. Very nicely done gentlemen.
This castle has so much much history...I look up some of the Italian words as you commentate and learn so much. It was great as always. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing!!
Danny and Leslie thank you for making this video come to life. I love the way you guys talk. You make it all sound so fascinating. I marvel at how people can just abandon their homes and leave everything behind. It’s amazingly that people don’t just come in off the streets and steal the expensive furniture and sell it.
Love all your trips! I am traveling through them❤
That furniture is priceless😊😊
What an amazing Palace! Love the displays of the weapons! The simplicity of most of the furnishings and all of the art work is truly beautiful! I hope this palace gets saved and restored! Thanks for sharing this amazing palace!
Sou descendente de uma família italiana e adorei ver esse castelo ❤
Класс видео!! !👍👍👍
parabéns que viagem incrível ao passado
Hi Lesley, and Danny, what a place. if it wasn't for the wallpaper coming off the walls, it looks like they only left recently.
Another case of a grand house that could be restored to live in, or turn it into a living museum.
So many unique items. And all the armor!
Breathe taking. Absolutely beautiful!. Thank you so much for sharing. Both did an outstanding job documenting this palace.

All this heritage lost in time. I always wonder who owns these places. The state?
Absolutely amazing, so much history in this place. Love watching all of the places you explore.

Je suis impressionnée de la beauté des pièces du château meubles ,armure ,tableaux .Merci pour le partage du vidéo.
Beautiful palace and music 🎶. Stunning painting, furniture and china plates. Love it!
This place was stunning and beautiful in its decay but also sad that no one cares for it. If this was in the UK it wouldve been very much destroyed by now as people here cant respect anything. Take nothing and just leave footprints is such a good saying for urban explorers. Love from the UK
Amazing video. You and Danny are the best! Love how you are so passionate about everything. Thank you...from America
What a beautiful place. I hope it is preserved, along with its contents.
Baie dankie Lesley en Danny. Dit was n besondere indrukwekkende paleis. Dankie vir jul moeite om dit vir ons te wys.
Thanks friends.❤
It was a great video, breath taking beautiful pieces! It almost appeared to be the same wood on that longer dining room table as the bed and dresser etc. It had a runner on it. I could be wrong, maybe it was just the dust on it🤷♀️ But the entire palace was awesome. I love you two!💜 You do a great job. I love that you look at pretty things in the cabinets. And you give us a significant amount of time to see and enjoy things too. ❤ Keep safe. God bless
I love the video and the house.❤
Very cool adornments and armaments. Didn't show the outside for credible reasons no doubt. Respecting the privacy of...
You guys are polishing your act and presentation. Really enjoy your historical content of the property and family in your presentation. It helps tremendously in telling a really fascinating story. Keep up the great work.
BTW- So glad you are out of the boring US now. Notice how most buildings are built to shit. Within a couple years serious decay is inevitable things Don't last for generations here. Can't wait to move permanently to Italy. You are getting me so excited! -Jay
Almost perfect presentation of Lesley .Youre great ! It's very interesting !!! The viewers grows more interest .More power & May God bless you more ...❤❤❤❤❤
This is so amazing! Really beautiful. I love how reverent and respectful you are with their things. And the background you give is so lovely & entertaining to watch.👍👍 Such an adventure. Leslie, you have holes in your left glove. 😂😂 The weapons were such an added bonus! I love antique weapons.
