@@SerpciMansion Yeah it's probably all connected, the fall of the old capital, Phaethon's missing teacher who is blamed for it, Koleda's dad, the Sacrifice and Vision Corp's actions are likely events all orchestrated by the same unrevealed antagonist.
The fact they brought some metalcore in Zenless surprised me, and holy shit it sounds amazing! They really went "Yeah, let's cut the crap with techno trap and let's go full metalcore" with vocals...WITH VOCALS. This is my favorite OST in game so far.
The fact they made a song with vocal for a 30sec clip is also insane. Like I want to hear the full somg when Cesear sacrifice herself. It was so random and peak at the same time

Pompey will be avenged one day but for now that coward runs back to his master which is most likely the Secret Organization the game been slowly revealing behind Hollow Zero.
It's sadly appropriate when you consider his and Caesar's namesakes. Historical Pompey sought refuge in Egypt while fleeing from Caesar, but was betrayed by the Egyptians and assassinated by Lucius Septimus in an attempt to gain favor with Caesar. This had the opposite effect. Whether Caesar's displeasure was borne of a genuine respect for Pompey as a former peer and son-in-law, being robbed of a legitimate victory over a worthy adversary, the disrespectful treatment of a respected figure in the Republic, the loss of any political advantage to be gained from pardoning him and showing mercy, or an equal combination of all those reasons is still debated. Either way, he was very displeased with how Pompey met his end. Both Pompey's died ignobly (Corrupted Pompey wasn't even killed by Caesar, he fell into a pit of lava), and both Caesars were very dissatisfied with how their conflict ended.

Probably one of the best tracks made by Hoyo in ZZZ. I love that they decided to convey the atmosphere of a new region through metalcore.
