You should cut diagonal lines in the ham and place the cloves where the lines meet. This draws more essence from the cloves. Then glaze it and put on the Pineapple rings. Great video!
I like making this recipe for regular dinner sometimes, but it is classy enough for a holiday meal. The whole cloves you can find in the the spice section all year.
Dan thank you so muchfor te simpliity of a delicious recipe. Some tomes my Mom would press cloves in the large canned ham and covered the top with crushed pineapple. She used the pineapple juice and canned ham juice and brown sugar to make a ham sauce with raisins. Have you baked a smoked ham. I'm looking for a recipe that used bourbon to flavor the sauce, you haen. Thanks again for your quick and easy recipe.
This just came across, and I have never seen it....SO I watched it😁 I have never had a canned ham, so I was interested in watching, and now, I just might have to try that. But I would have to have my cherries on the pineapple😋 Thank you so much for sharing. Hope you are continuing to feel better🐾🦊🐺
That has to smell so good.... I luv pineapple & brown sugar glaze on a ham but my Husband won't eat it any way but plain. I wish there was a way I could add it to mine after baked...
I cannot cook to save my life but Im trying to learn. I have a bet with my sisters that I can cook something worthwhile for the upcoming holiday's. We have a bet. Im suposed to cook whilst my three older sisters claim theyll need to update and add to their life insurance policies. Hey wait a sec! Was that a dig at me? 😁😁😁 Im gonna try this.
At least you are tryinhg to learn how to cook. I think you will do good with the bet. Do something simple and someone you enjoy eating. Best of luck! Thanks for watching!

Timely recipe with another holiday coming up. I'm going to have to keep my eye out for those whole cloves.

This makes me drool dude. And I love ham with pineapples and cherries too! Wow! I sure love this video! Great one again! Thanks for all your videos!
If I had cherries at home I would have put some on the ham but I did not want to buy them just for the ham.
Great video. It was just the recipe I was looking for....something quick and simple. Just one question....do you cook the ham covered or uncovered?
I am glad you enjoyed this. I cook this uncovered. Thanks for watching!

I just love the smell of it when it is cooking. Maybe cooking half plain in one pan and this recipe in a separate pan.
what was the temp in the oven for it ?
The temperature is 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks for watching!
Looks great and simple! About how many people do you think it would feed? 4-6 or so?
It would serve 6 easy.
Dan, what size was that ham? Was it a 3-lb or 5-lb? Thanks!
It was 48 oz can.
Is this recipe for a 16 oz canned ham
48 oz canned ham. Thanks for watching!

Canned ham is precooked. Just needs heating or you also can eat it cold. You won't get sick...
Thanks for watching!
325 degrees uncovered for 1 hour w/internal temperature of 135 degrees. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Try putting in the cloves first to it's more evenly distributed.
Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for watching!
I prefer canned ham to that boneless ham with the thick skin they sell in the grocery store.
Sometimes, the skin can be a little hard to deal with. Thanks for watching!
You didn't give the temp that needs to be used.
The temperature needed is on the can. It is either 350 or 375. Thanks for watching!
Dear God this is so wrong. Are there no butchers in America? Ham in a can? Ewwwq
Thanks for watching!
