Yay it is back! PS: you can run these versions without betacraft on older windows versions. If you are worried about offline dat save, i can provide you with a custom jar file that force enables it
I've been binge watching this series and I absolutely love it. The way you explain things is always interesting and you find ways to teach us about subjects outside of Minecraft through the game. You show impressive stuff in a version that's so limited so congrats with that. I can't wait to find out where it's going to go with this series
@@bluecrab2 yeah! I remember playing some old mario and spongebob games. And getting my first encounter with the internet. My god :D Anyway, lets not turn into 2 rambling old people xD
Nice vid. Do I understand correctly that you manually placed all the blocks in the ant part? If such, it’s really cool. Also, what did you use to get into different OSs? Virtual machines?
Yeah I had to place all the blocks for the Langton's Ant animation manually :D I got it to the point where I could do about 1.75 frames per minute. Also, yes, VMs were used for all the Windows versions except 7 & 10. I have an IBM Aptiva with Windows XP that I really wanted to run the world on. I spent a while and could get the default launcher to work surprisingly but the Betacraft wouldn't launch (maybe because it is 32-bit?)
6:15 bahaha that must have been cool for server members to experience
