Hi Ariel. The Stomplab 1G has no expression pedal. Watch this video from EX, maybe the procedure is the same with the Stomp 2G. ua-cam.com/video/kwDKVY0b_gk/v-deo.html
You play beautifully and get the best out of your equipment. I want an amp and cab sim. I currently have the AMT F1 but I also wanted some Vox and Marshall tones but do not want to spend tones of money on a Strymon. Would this pedal make sense? Which would be best, the stomplab or an old tonelab st with valve? Muito obrigada (you can spend huge tones of money and not get better quality)
Hi Elisabet... Thanks! Between Stomplab and ST, I prefer the ST. Both have excellent preamp and cabinet simulations but the ST, besides being a little more complete, can be used as an audio interface for direct recordings on the computer. I really like the old Vox multi-effects. I would like Vox to make new Tonelabs using Impulse Response technology, so they would sound even more realistic.
Hi... The presets I share on this channel are designed to be used without real amps. They already have preamp and cabinet simulations. They should be used directly in the PA system and audio monitors like these: ua-cam.com/video/zL8_MLoPeAM/v-deo.html / Thanks bro!
I have just bought a new Vox stomplab IIG; when I put it in chain with a Crybaby wha and a volume pedal, it comes out a noisy twistle from the cabinets; it doesn't happen when I connect only the pedalboard. Somebody could explain how to solve the problem (everything is powered by a multiple connector that goes in the Visual sound 1 spot adapter)
Hi bro! The reason for the noises is this: "everything is powered by a multiple connector that goes in the Visual sound 1 spot adapter". Stomplab must have its own Power Supply. Can't share. This always happens with multi-effects. If you can, use the original Vox Stomplab power supply.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar so I have to connect the analogic pedals with 1 spot adapter and the Vox stomplab with another one. Can you recomnend me Line6 DC1 (as suggested me a dealer in Italy) or possibile with another 1 spot or can you give me the name of the original adapter?
"so I have to connect the analogic pedals with 1 spot adapter and the Vox stomplab with another one." Yes Domenico! I use the Vox power supply that came with Stomplab. I always use the original factory power supply for each multi-effects. This always ensures its best functioning.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar After an extensive search I can find not a single seller of the Stomplab 1G who includes the unit with any original VOX psu. I can't even find a VOX branded power supply, plenty of 'non-genuine' though. Are you 100% certain yours actually came with a VOX branded power supply?? PS: Fabulous playing by the way.. Top notch 👍🏻
Hi, when I am recording my guitar like this(with Stomplab 1g) I get ground noise... I don't know why...Maybe because I use Rectifier AC to DC, but... Do you know how I can fix this problem?I would be grateful if you knew. Note: This only occurs when I'm recording guitar. When I play with the same processor on the amplifier, there is no noise and hum.
Hi! The main cause of excessive noise in multi-effects is the use of a power supply with a lower amperage than the manufacturer's recommended. Take a look at the user manual or the Vox website. Another cause is the use of shared power supply (daisy chain) between pedals and the multi-effects. Always use a separate power supply for multi-effects only.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar Thanks for your reply! For a year now, I've been using an adapter for Stomplab that gives a current of 600mA, while on the website it says that it should be around 200mA... So that's why the noise occurs?
I believe that is not it. 600mA is ok. Do you use this power supply only for Stomplab or do you share it with other pedals with daisy chain extensions?
@@DirectRecordingGuitar Only for Stomplab. I don't know what is problem... When I am recording guitar in Guitar rig( or Reaper with Guitar rig presets) without Stomplab, only guitar with or without program effects, then I don't have any noise. With Stomplab I have a ground noise which stop when I touch any metal part(guitar or cable or Stomplab...). Guitar ground is Okay, I checked this. Maybe is guitar input or output cable problem?
Maybe you just need to adjust the noise gate on each preset for your guitar. Noises happens with any multi-effects, pedals set and even real amps even without a guitar connected. It's inherent in the electric guitar. It's part of the game. If it's single pickups it will be more evident than humbuckers. But if the noise is something excessive, that not even the gate and your hands leaning on the strings and bridge are solving, you have to stop to look for the cause. It could be the multi-effects power supply that is not feeding properly, the guitar grounding is not done properly or the ground wire is loose, some bad cable, neighborhood power grid levels may be low, etc... In this video at 1:21 I test the Noise Killer pedal from Mooer on the pedal set, take a look at a type of normal noise in a set: ua-cam.com/video/_kFwM57nIpk/v-deo.html
