I think this track is showing both sides equally, everything screams Skrillex or Feed Me, they are doing similar stuff for some of their tracks... like for Feed Me there is No Grip the second drop is very identical, or even Bad Taste, Final Stage, etc. Jon started doing these since he produces which is 2003, Sonny started around 2008 prior to that it was his rock band towards 2004 and left it in 2008
For the airy synth have a go at Muscle Rollers, Coffee Black, Lonely Mountain, Pumpkin Eyes after 4:00 min, Red Clouds in the mid build up, and so on, almost each of his tracks have that type of electronic guitar solo.
He's not going to release anything like this style or anything that was made in this era anymore. He doesn't want to release stuff with his 2010-2013 sound design

Dude i lost my shit when he played this and Bad Taste! Those tracks are old as shit amd it was so amazing i got to rage to those tracks while i was in the middle of the rail! Also it was the first time hearing Bad Taste live & the 2nd time hearing the Skrillex collab (1st time hearing this version though!). I was also surprised he closed out with a Spor track! 2nd best set of the weekend right behind Nero!
