I love the way she skips around like a little butterfly enjoying her chickadees! She lights up when talking about her babies! Did you notice her face when she got the newly hatched ones out of the incubator? The little chick was looking at her like she knew her voice and wasn't scared of her! So precious! Makes my day watching Jason and Brookes videos! They are just awesome parents!

I've eaten chicken, duck and turkey egg. Never tried a goose egg. I found scrambled duck eggs to be very very yellow which made me feel that they were richer and more cholesterol. I liked them. I also enjoyed turkey egg. I wonder if turkey eggs might have less cholesterol and be a healthy alternative for some folks who need that option. Now I'm off to google the nutrition information about all the eggs. Thanks for a fun video.

What a fun episode! I loved the taste test! I don't think I've ever eaten anything but a chicken egg. But I can definitely tell the difference between grocery store economy priced eggs, and grocery store cage free eggs, and backyard free range happy chicken eggs. The grocery store cage free eggs are good. But the backyard free range eggs are definitely the best! The more free and happy the chickens are the thicker the shell is, too. Oh, and Mary Carl is adorable. Love the whole family! 💖💖💖

We had a lot of duck eggs when I was younger but they were often in omelets with smoked ham, tomatoes and onion so wouldn't have noticed a difference. I did try some recently from my local farm shop - this would have been the first time in 50 plus years and was not impressed. I love soft boiled eggs "with toast soldiers" (I know I'm still a big kid) I found boiling them were hard to gauge, the white was tough and more chewy and generally the egg was less tasty. I know my grandma's used to swear by them for baking but as a dunker it's not for me.

For Brooke you could have blind folded yourself and then they could have feed you the eggs to see if you could have guessed which was which-:) Overall this was great to see-:). I’ve been told people use duck eggs for baking. That might be another experiment to bake the same thing with each breed of egg and see how or not it changes the flavor😃👍🏼

My family loves fried duck eggs. We have a Pekin that lays everyday. The muscovy hen hasn't laid in awhile but we like them too.
Quail eggs are my least favorite. It takes alot of them to do scrambled eggs. About 50 to feed us 4.

Howdy Cog Hill family - You guys are GREAT! I was quite entertained watching the egg taste test. I would have included a pallate cleaner between tastes. In addition, I truly enjoy your interactions with MaryCarl. She is a very intelligent young lady! New Sub!

I've never had them farm-fresh, but I did find quail eggs in an Asian market once. They were a little sweeter than chicken eggs. Definitely worth a taste!
