Thank you! We did cedar raised beds in a formal potager layout. The two middle beds are lower and meant for herbs and strawberries. The trellises are the Nicole Arch Trellises from our shop! (We have a blog post on this garden layout if you go to Gardenary.com and then search "potager" in our blog)
@@Gardenary thank you so much! You are my new found inspiration! My deer fence is being constructed as we speak so I’ve been watching your videos. I will search for the video to help me. Again, I appreciate your response and your channel!
I have never been able to grow radishes.....makes me so sad because I love them so! I have googled myself silly and have no idea what i could be doing wrong, I mean come on school kids grow these.🧐
@@Gardenary Yes I agree they are my favorite also but can't grow them either. I did put a few seeds in a couple of weeks ago that I ordered from Baker Creek. they are up with their second set of true leaves.....we shall see in a month or so.🤞
Houston gardener here. I found your page searching for a guide on what to plant in containers this summer. I didnt know chives grew well in heat so I may go out and buy a plant to start. I have gardened for a few years but just now starting to grow for food.
Welcome to kitchen gardening! Definitely stick to plants that like heat for the next couple months (eggplant, okra, hot peppers, etc.). Wait for the fall if you want to do plants like tomatoes in Houston
Im a new sub to your channel. I've never grown vegetables before. Do you have a video for beginners with next to no property? I could probably fit 1 maybe 2 smaller garden beds. I live in Queensland Australia where it doesn't get too cold be it certainly gets really hot.
@Gardenary You got lots of videos, wasn't sure where to start. I watch yt on my phone, so have to click on every video to see full title. Thank you so much. I appreciate you🙏
I love your tips and the raised beds. What is the wood and layout of this beautiful garden? Thanks for all your tips and suggestions.

That's kind of how I was until I grew French breakfast radishes. Those have always been my favorite type

It might be too warm for them now. They like cool weather
@@Gardenary only planted 5 seeds put them in the afternoon shade part of my raised bed….
I have yet to have success with chives 😂
It blows my mind that so many of you are saying you struggle with chives!
