Thank you!! I like this song. A year ago I would not have liked this heavy, metal song... but slowly I have grown into more heavier stuff (yes, I know there are a lot more heavier songs and bands... but this is heavy for me). My favourite song from the new album is "Don't Pray For Me". I prefer what Sharon's voice has grown into now. It has more darkness now... it has aged (in a good way).
Although they started out as a mainstream rock/metal band with a rough edge (remember Gatekeeper), they meanwhile have established themselves as a protest metal band. They manage to use topics other bands wouldn't dream of touching: the Ukraine song, a song about the dangers of modern technology and AI, a protest song against the entertainment industry or entertaining the elite,..... they're slowly becoming the metal Bob Dylan - which isn't that bad anyway.
Rocking performance. No names in the lyrics, so it isn't tied down to a specific event, it even works with hypotheticals. One thing I've noticed about AI is that it lacks consistency, it would be useless for animated stories.
I thank you for the comment on the track and thanks to you I may have blurred some aspects of this piece which, perhaps due to lack of oxygen, I still don't like. In my opinion, with this album and the previous one, WT's music, neglecting the lyrics, has undertaken a rather generic and not very personal sound path, losing that originality that distinguished them and that I adored. Thanks anyway
You said my nickname right :) Thank you for your reaction or rather analysis. As always...great :) Greetings from Poland
Thank you!!

Good track. I have the cd, but didnt know what the song was about prior to you mentioning it. I should do a deep dive into the lyrics for this album.

"Punished" you say, her name is Mahsa Amini and she was captured, tortured and killed by the "Morality Poice" for refusing to wear the hijab.
