Hi Tauri. I love your reactions. I'm waiting for you to post a reaction to each new Within Temptation song. I also discovered the band in 2005 and I'm a fan to this day. I love the message the band brings in each album and I haven't seen them live yet. They came here to Brazil 3 times and I never went. I read a couple of days ago that the father of the woman who was murdered last year, has been arrested because he talked about the death of his daughter in public. Lots and lots of people died during the protests, it's just so heartbreaking to see what's happening there.

I find this song so heartbreaking and i really appreciate the freedom that i have and to be able to live my life as i choose. The band Avatar also did a song about the same subject and the same person in collaboration with Lizzy Hale called 'Violence no matter what' which i think is worth checking out. this video is like a hellish and nightmarish fantasyland which escalates during the song and it all tells the story what this song is about. the faceswitching demon is the evil power who tormented and killed the woman who became an angel in the end.
Nice to see this today! I am amazed by the production of the song itself. The shear heaviness. That power driving the lyrics. All while you can hear each instrument at play. The video is from what I understand not just a punch and generate form of AI. The artist who designed the art is RART. He is on Instagram, UA-cam, and I forget what other social media platform. The production was done by Setvexy. All in all I was impressed by both the innovative video and the track which is just f'en solid and a direction I am personally absolutely OK with the band taking. There hasn't been a WT song from the last two or three albums that has made its way onto my top 5 WT songs list, but this one is def in my top 3 🤘🏽
Think about this, what metal group or any music group in America writes about this type of subject matter? NO ONE!!!!!! Thank God Within Temptation has the guts to bring to light this kind of brutality against an innocent person such as Mahsa Amini

great reaction tauri I personally have nothing with religion and how women are treated in those countries is simply medieval, you will never see me go on holiday to those kinds of countries because I just find them scary, the only thing I missed in this song was the breakdown it was to short, they should have made it a bit longer because it was so good and heavy, greetings from the Netherlands

Personally, I think the mix is rubbish. Sharon's voice *IS* WT and having that being lost in a muddy mess of instrumentation is a WTF? moment.
A lot of metal is being produced like this now. And this isn't even the worst case. It's annoying.
