- Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.

the outside being a freezer is a whimsical thing
Thought they stayed on the conveyor because they were still on the "assembly line."
Didn't realize they were being frozen. Not to mention all the free space for freezing between the dining area and kitchen!

I love the concept of turkey. The base item only requires you to microwave ONE item, and that's it.
The variations? Immediate whiplash. Cranberry sauce is simple (thank god), gravy is annoying on any map except north pole, and stuffing is evil incarnate.

You could set up the elves to automate the breadcrumbs by having the exit lead to a conveyor to a portioner that slices the bread and sends it into the elf house. Then a smart grabber next to the exits conveyor set to breadcrumbs pulls them out of the way. All you would need to do is add the dough when you need more bread
So the experimentation with the elf huts and steak/pizza/fish - They seem to work in a weird priority system - but will always take something to the final stage. So if I toss a normal meat in there, they chop it. BUT If I cook it to raw then toss it in, you get well done. Thin Cut and Thick Cut go to well done immediately. With the Pizza, they immediately make the sauce and skip the chopped tomatoes as a whole. For Fish, only Spiny fish cause an issue since you have to remove bones first.
That outside thing being a freezer, and a conveyor belt, is easiest the best frozen prep station possible. Between turkey and stuffing, stuff is the one I'd use it for. But if you noticed, you didn't lose a plate when you put one in there, easy way to dupe maybe completed plates of food so you can just have them stored ready to serve for the next day,
you know with this new map, you could properly do a "sushi" train set up. If the tables and grabbers take from an adjacent parallel line you can have portioners, autoplaters, etc feed the customers from the left. Then as they head through the rightside of the map it send dirty plates to the elves on the right for clean up. you just may end up "trapped" in the kitchen
watching you get so confused with the new dishes, and completely thrown off your game by the new features has been an entertaining evening. Thank you for sharing this. ^_^
Wow, I just learned that eating raccoon is a thing.
Also, putting a regular prep station outside in the snow should've already made it a frozen prep. XD
The stuffing is not a side. It's a dressing, in a similar way that steak sauce is a dressing. You need the main dish plated first, and no, you don't get extra if they order their meal in dressing form.

The counter/conveyor set up you have leading into the dining room could be used toward the top of the kitchen leading the stuffing to the fairy/frozen conveyors
Stuffing and dressing are the same thing. Though some may argue that "it's not stuffing if it wasn't cooked with the turkey". To be perfectly fair, stuffing cooked in the turkey would probably come out better as it'd get some turkey cooked into it. Whereas dressing would need to be cooked after the fact.
Instead of fully cooked turkeys, you could have just portioned out the meals. But I guess you'd need a plates upgrade too.
I'm not sure completely cause he only ever did it once... but I think it gave him a full plate stack the next round- meaning... infinite plates...
Neat update, can you use the particioner from a conveyor? That way I think you have the space to go smart graver the bread, particion a slice that gets grab into the elf hut again. Also you can use a danger hob with to make turkeys to feed the conveyor line outside and use a corner conveyor as some sort of valve to pause the production, or use like 4 safety hobs in parallel to avoid the fire hazzard. Happy holidays.

I believe I commented this on another video, but I'll address your "turkey is too dry" - If you're eating turkey that is "too dry", you're not having good turkey.
Turkey is like chicken - easy to cook, hard to cook right. Turkey can be a very juicy and delicious meat. If you think turkey is too dry, then you probably don't like chicken either. They're both low fat, easy to dry out foods. And if you think turkey is dry, how do you feel about nacho meat? You're literally cooking it until most of the fat has come out. And then most people drain the fat.
i played this map before reading about the update and i thought those huts were only teleporters lol
The stuffing in the bird makes the stuffing nice and fluffy and juicy from the turkey, if you cook turkey wrong it is dry and horrible, but if you cook it right it is juicy and tender

I'm also not sure where the devs got that recipe for stuffing, but no one makes stuffing that way. The whole point of stuffing is that it all cooks together at the end. At no point do you make toast.
The developer, AJ, is British and I believe it is meant to be Sage and Onion Stuffing (look it up). It looks like he simplified it to just breadcrumbs and onion, as those are two primary ingredients in that kind of stuffing.
Setting up a rube goldberg machine to take care of the turkey carcasses on the other side of the room instead of just putting the garbage bin in the bottom left hand corner. Very high IQ move.
Hey Skoottie nice vid 👍. Also idk if you realized this or not but you had a plate duplicated from the first day on the left side conveyors. It might help keep the run alive for a longer time. That's it have a good night 😄.

I was so annoyed I couldn't move the conveyors that I just ignored the huts, but now that I know they're burn proof cooking I'm more interested
Edit 12/28/22: yeah I love these things now. I can almost fully automate before day ten.
If you’re eating dry turkey, you are absolutely cooking it incorrectly. Cooked properly, turkey is some of the juiciest meat around. Fried turkey is my favorite food.
You could just place Turkey Freezer near a House, so you'll have an infinite source of Cooked Turkeys

I think the stuffing is considered a topping ot the main like. beans is to toast. so that's why it can't be plated on it's own
on the topic of raccoon: They weren't always the trash pandas we know today. They are wild animals that eat berries like any other animal in the wild. Rabbits fairly normal, but raccoon is crazy??
When i first played this update i took stuffing as well and it 100% killed the run, its just too much work honestly to ever be worth it
