If you’re a farm kid from the 80s you’ll see the value in these videos right away .Your hard work goes unnoticed.

For a young guy who grew up with putt putts and still uses them, it's nice to see them in a video and still valued for the work they did

These type of stories are why I love old tractors. Between that and growing up in a family that’s always farmed and collected. If these old girls could talk imagine the stories they could tell!

Awesome. These stories are so much cooler to me than some collection of low hour tractors. These have character

Nice project tractor. I had two different 720 diesels through the years and I wish I had kept one always wanted a 730. Maybe one day. Started with a 630. I'm a red man but half my family was green and half was red. I really enjoy your videos. Love to hear these men talking about the tractors and the farms. I like both brands IH and Deere and I have ran lots of other brands for neighbors. Thanks for sharing the video.

I'm 61 was lucky to grow up around JD AR, 730 diesel , R diesel and 4020 was the big horse on chopper when we started doing haylage middle 70s'. Wonderful time to grow up milking 90 cows in a stantion barn. Lots and lots of small squares 14T baler flat racks. 😂❤
Thanks again for all the great videos always look forward to the next one. 👍😎

I love your 720. I have my dad's 70 diesel and a 730 diesel electric start. I don't have those in running condition right now but every time I hear one I sure get the itch to get them running. My dad bought the 70 in 1975. It was off a dairy farm near Ann Arbor Michigan. Some years later my wife was visiting the original owner as a home care patient and I was able to meet him and hear some stories about it.
My dad was one the first guys in my area to plant 30 inch rows. He used an old 290 John Deere planter and a New Idea one row picker. During the 70s and 80s we always had beef on the table thanks to that ole 70.

The stupid Wico ignition on those always have issues. Our 820 sits on a hill. 5th and a little fuel. Roll it about 15 feet and clutch it in. Don’t matter how cold will bust off every time.
