These are the welcoming remarks to the Rethinking Autism for the 21st Century, organized and delivered by Rutgers University Professor Elizabeth B Torres, Executive and Scientific Director of the New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence and Director of the Sensory Motor Integration Laboratory. Attendees from multiple disciplines, parents, self-advocates, clinicians, researchers and investors from all over the world converged to officially acknowledge the Autism Renaissance on April 16th 2023.
